I just submitted our first claim with Pets Best. My dog had to have a tooth extracted, and there was a teeth cleaning that was a necessary part of the extraction procedure that Pets Best refused to cover because they have a blanket policy against covering teeth cleaning, period. This was not a preventative tooth cleaning procedure - it had to happen as part of her extraction and should have been covered. So far I'm pretty disappointed with this insurance coverage and am considering switching to a new company.
