While I like the coverage and price, the turn around time on claims is ridiculous. My cat Calliope had a bowel obstruction and required 2 surgeries and 2 additional days in the hospital for her full recovery. I spent nearly $12k in medical bills. As such I filed all claims within a week of the event. It's been a month now and of the 5 claims I have only received 2 EOB for the smaller claims. I have received an "apologies for the delay" email with no insight into how long that delay should be expected to last. One reason I selected pets best was the supposed fast turn-around time.
