I am so disappointed with Pets Best not allowing my claim and then to add salt on the wound I spoke with the most insane customer service rep woman when I called to see why the claim was denied. She wouldn't let me speak and kept interuppting me and had a very know-it-all tone the ENTIRE time. Never a good sign. Years of paying for 2 dogs and a cat and never once having anything covered. My dog went to get a teeth cleaning and vet determined while he was under that he needed tooth extraction. Bottom line while tooth extraction is covered officially its not really unless the pet has had a cleaning in the last 13 months. So when I asked were we supposed to let the Vet put him under and then do nothing or clean teeth that needed to be pulled and then reschedule the teeth extraction so he could be plied with anesthesia a second time (not safe and who would do this)...She didn't let me finish. Interuppted - again to incredibly tell me what she does and what HER vet does with HER dog's appointments. So she could tell me what I had done wrong. And again her tone (call was recorded Pets Best so please listen) was so smarmy tsk tsk know-it-all that I told her bluntly to "stop talking" and that I didn't want to her her anecdotal vet stories about her dog...sigh! I hung up the call. Who has the patience for such absurdity. One of those people that thinks their little lived experience is the way it is for everyone else on the planet. Talk to me about the policy not your know-it-all holier than thou advice when I call about my paid Pets Best insurance policy. It's not Ann Landers for Pete's sake.
