As a veterinarian I knew I need insurance on my Labrador puppy. Predictably, just after his first birthday he helped himself and my Cavalier to an entire bottle of NSAIDs. After a couple of days of treatment at my favorite ER they were very lucky to come home with their kidneys intact.
