It's easy to get started with this company. If you don't mind phone calls to get issues sorted out then they are the company for you. But the wait times are crazy making both for calls and for claims to be processed.
Also just because you get a person on the phone, it doesn't mean you'll actually get the answers you need. There is a lot of "I'm sorry for the inconvenience...".
Currently I have well over $1000 in claims that have yet to be processed. Claims from July and into August. I might start seeing money around October... I hope.
Also no where in my origanal documents does it say up to 42 days to process a claim. Even the website says around 30 give or take a bit. But it use to be around two maybe three weeks at the latest.
It is just recently this year that there has been a big problem. In this economy we need a better turn around on claims being paid out.
If it's a staffing problem, that is fixable. But it doesn't seem like the company can keep up with the demands.
I do hope it gets better. Leaving isn't an option as anything with a new company would fall under pre-exisiting. So I'm between a rock and a hard place.
I will say most everyone I've been able to talk to has always been pleasant. I do definitely appreciate that!!
