This is our first experience with pet insurance. Hopefully we won't need the catastrophic incident benefit, which was the primary reason for purchasing. Initially, in reading the coverage for all other things, it did seem like more of our vet expenses would be covered. We received some nice reimbursements the first year of coverage, but this year most expenses have been applied to our deductible. I'm sure that's all outlined in the coverage info, but still disappointing. By the time we reach the point of getting reimbursed, it will likely be a new billing year and the deductible will start over. If the premium continues to increase in large amounts, we will have to reconsider our choices and make adjustments.
