My three-starts is not a reflection on Pets Best specifically... but with the coverage plans generally. For busy people (who's not?!), it's challenging to read all the policy fine-print.
The marketing material doesn't highlight all the limitations, deductibles (annual and per claim), and low caps for each category. I'm usually disheartened each time I submit a claim to find that little of it is covered. Their actuaries know what they're doing to ensure a profit!
The main reason we maintain the policy is to protect against a major medical expense. If it weren't for that, we're discovering that the policy doesn't hold much other value.
A major bright side to Pets Best specifically is that when I call, I usually get an agent right away who is very knowledgable about their policies, coverages and how to interpret specific situations.
