I’ve had pet insurance for a few years and PetsBest is good and quick at processing claims however, this is something I’ve mentioned before which I don’t even think is legal, but when claims are being processed, and the deductible is being satisfied, they take 10% more deductible than they should. For example, if your plan is a deductible of $500 and then they pay 90% after that, they will take a deduction of $550 before any payments are made to the policyholder. I feel like they have a flaw in their calculation system and don’t want to address it. Other than that, I’m satisfied with them.
