Their decisions for denying claims is unfair and baseless. They claimed “pre existing” for my dog I just got insured even though there was zero pre existing symptoms or issues documented. I appealed with letters from 2 vets going on record to say the issues were not pre existing. They denied the appeal again saying it was pre existing. When I asked for proof to show where they found the information to make their decision, the people on the phone can’t answer that. You can’t speak to the appeal dept directly and they don’t respond to emails. I started a second appeal 3 months ago and they told me to wait 90 business days. I reached out for an update and they claimed they never received my 2nd appeal. I have proof it was sent in my sent box. Now they want me to start the process over again. I sent in all they requested and they’re still saying there is no record of my appeal request. This feels like such a scam. I will take this to arbitration if they continue to deny because the facts are there that this is not pre existing. But now I’m getting the run around. I’m starting to think this is on purpose to frustrate and inconvenience me into giving up. Shame on Pets Best.
