After much research, I chose Pets Best. I liked that I could chose my deductible and my percentage back etc. the problem I have is that more times than not, it takes a long time to get my money back. My dog is on monthly, expensive medicine and I’m not rich and sometimes I’m not reimbursed before the next months pills and I don’t have the money to lay out. This was especially frustrating when my other dog had cancer- the bills were piling up while I was awaiting reimbursement- luckily, we were finally able to work a direct pay to the vet- that was due to my oncologist going along with this- many vets won’t.
