Pets Best misleads consumers on their coverage. The ads tell you to choose your coverage and deductible. They lead you to believe you'll be reimbursed for the percentage you've chosen over the deductible. Somewhere in the back pages the fine print shows how they calculate that percentage. It's not a simple calculation of percentage times the total amount over the deductible. It's on a item level which seems to calculate in their favor. My $440 amount over the deductible with an 80% reimbursement came to a $150 reimbursement check via Pets Best math.
