I like the service, and appreciate the peace of mind that I can get the care needed for my pets. Love that they have a 24/7 phone-vet service, great for small issues/ poison control like service. However am a bit disheartened by the claim maximums compared to the other services on the market. My dog is 7 years old, with the premium service, excluding wellness. I have had my dog since a puppy with this plan, and with two different conditions, I maxed out my allowance for both conditions. One of which maxed out with the pre-op diagnostics, so I was on my own for paying for the surgery and post surgical rechecks. The other illness is something that is life long after diagnosis. Being diagnosed at the age of 2. The care for the life long illness is not a crazy expensive annual cost, like diabetes or Cushing's disease would be. However this year, after only 5 years, we maxed out this condition as well. Would like if they either had higher general condition dollar limits, or higher annual/ per incident dollar limits (as one of their competitors do.) In addition they set the estimated time for claim completion, however in the last year they have only met that time twice, in the many claims I have submitted.
