My boiler was fixable but the guy came round and sound it wasn't worth fixing. He then gave me a quote for a new boiler for more than £4,000. I got several alternative quotes for about half the price. I paid a Saturday rate of £192 to be told my boiler wasn't worth fixing and then to be given an outrageous quote. A few days later another plumber came round and replaced the leaking valve for £100. I won't be using Pimlico Plumbers again.
