I sent the spice of the month as a gift and asked to have an acknowledgement sent to the giftee on his birthday. That did not happen. Now the spices will hopefully arrive and he won't know who they are from until I tell him, and it's also two weeks past his birthday!
It seems that the recipient did not acknowledge that he had received the email and waited until the first shipment arrived. My mistake.
