I broke my ankle backpacking several years ago. I have pins and plates holding things together. A couple of years ago my ankle began to ache and the VA put me in physical therapy. I tried everything but never got much relief from the pain until they put my leg under a Platinum Therapy light. The results were amazing. I had such good results with pain management under the lights that I bought two sets for my use at home. I have also found other uses, like helping the arthritis in my hands. My daughter also uses it on her scalp for alopecia. While not a once-and-down therapy, the lights make my pain manageable, which is a great relief.
