I wish it was a little more clear that the app requires a relatively enormous yearly subscription to use. And if I don’t want to use the app, why can’t I reassign the Backbone button to function like a DS4 home button for use in PlayStation Remote Play? It’s pretty irritating that there is no PS button function on this controller, but there is a useless backbone button to take me to a glorified app folder to launch games from that costs almost as much as a new AAA game to use. Controller gets points for nice clicky buttons but wow the rest of the experience is not good.
