Rang for simple capping off of radiator( we have already removed the radiator itself , this was literally just to cap off the pipe . This was for my elderly parent , quoted hourly rate of £168 plus VAT ... that's £200 an hour not including parts ! No guarantee it could be sorted in the hour ...but advised us the plumber won't charge us for time buying any parts, as if that's usual practice! Hideously overpriced and talking up simple plumbing work , concerned that elderly customers may be taken advantage of .
