Had a leak from a damaged pipe feeding the radiator on the left hand side of the radiator. Engineer came to repair the leak, but in doing so the valve of the radiator started leaking. During the process the radiator was not sealed at the top and dirty water went over a white wall. They sent a second “engineer” the following day to fix the leak. Upon arrival he announced that he was not a plumber or a heating engineer but a bathroom fitter and that he wasn’t sure what he was doing - confidence levels plummeted. He was about to take the radiator valves off on both sides without depressurising the system or turning the boiler off - I had to do both of these things. He then took the valves off the left side and put plumbing paste on them and retightened them. He also tightened the right hand side as apparently. He said to keep an eye on it as he wasn’t sure it would work. I had to repressurise the boiler. After he left both sides of the radiator were now leaking. I informed Rightio and made it clear I had lost confidence in the service and asked for a refund. Nearly 2 months later, after countless back and forth emails, I have not received a refund. I was also told by customer services that they would fix both sides without charging me anymore. The engineer turned up and told me that I was going to be charged for a second time to fix the problem one of their engineers had caused. Impossible to speak to a member of management to rectify the situation. I paid nearly £200 to for a service and not only is the initial problem not fixed, there is now more problems! Worst experience of dealing with a company! Avoid at all costs!
