Phileas antique brass rechargeable table lamp was as described, well packed, and delivered on time. I had not used this company before but will happily use them again. The lamp is excellent quality! Heavy base. Does not feel like a cheaply made item, which was a relief, as it's quite expensive. You just recharge the battery with the charger that's provided. Apparently, you can buy a replacement battery for the lamp when the rechargeable battery has ended its lifespan. So, you don't have to replace the lamp, just the battery. Which is very good news! I wanted the lamp for use in the bathroom (instead of using candles). The light it casts has a lovely warm glow. I'm so happy with it! These lamps would also work really well in creating nice ambient lighting in the evenings in a garden (note not to leave them out in the rain though). Could be used instead of candles on the dinning room table, for lighting an area where a little extra light is needed because no wall socket is available, when camping or picnicking. Such a useful lamp! I will definitely get lots of use out of this lamp. I bought the 18cm drum shade in Ivory dupion silk. Thank you Pooky!
