The book on Northumberland, I expect will be excellent. It is a Christmas gift so I have had to hide it. My husband found a previous book by the same author scholarly and informative.
I am less sure about the children's "escape" book. I have glanced through it and I'm uncertain as to the age at which it is directed. During my teaching career, I came across such books where the vocabulary and illustrations were directed at different levels.
