Perhaps not many people use post and cheque these days, but I did, ordering 2 books. One was no longer available, the one I really wanted. One book was hardly worth the postage, which is why I ordered two. You sent me the one book, for which I paid £3 p&p. (50% on top of the book price).
If we must order online or by phone, to get up-to-date information, then please make it clear on your order page. It has rather put me off using your service.
