I finished taking the 6-week Flagship SAT course last week, and it was extremely beneficial. My instructor Miguel Chavira thoroughly explained all the concepts, solved practice problems, and clarified my doubts. Also, he offered many helpful test-taking strategies. On the first practice test, I got a 1350 and was worried the score was too low. However, I learned many reading, writing, and math strategies, and my score was raised to a 1570. Before the course, I struggled with reading comprehension, but this course taught me how to interpret passages. My favorite aspect of the course was the abundance of practice problems, such as the individual test modules and the downloadable PrepExpert textbooks. Doing these questions made taking the practice full-length tests easier. Specifically, I liked the hard math quizzes; since these ten problems were tough, I was better prepared when taking the weekly practice full-length tests. Overall, I think the course was a worthwhile use of the time and greatly boosted my confidence.
