“I have not taken the SAT yet, so I can not speak for score improvements besides practice tests. My teacher was Dr. Ilia Kolmagorov, and he thoroughly outlined all of the different strategies throughout the duration of the course. I enjoyed how it simplified rather complex topics: for example, I was extremely confused about dangling modifiers and could not figure them out despite trying to look online, and Dr. Kolmagorov explained it in a minute, clearing up any confusion I had about it. The course provides a lot of resources with various problems, and although I have been very busy and unable to do external independent practice, I still feel very well prepared to take the June SAT. As for improvements, I feel like classes could definitely be shortened by 1 hour, which would increase attention, as the first 30 mins was often used for refocusing exercises, which could be done independently, and we had 2 10-minute long breaks. Overall, though, I view highly of this course, and if I need to retake the SAT in August, I will most likely use my Unlimited Prep Expert membership to reenroll in a similar course or continue preparing.”

“Words will never be enough when talking about the excellent service provided by Prep Expert and Mr. Kolmagorov. Concepts that were hard for me before were made understandable, applicable, and fun to study thanks to their teaching methods. Each lecture included many useful techniques which I used constantly to improve my skills. However, what stands out the most about Prep Expert and Mr. Kolmagorov is their dedication to teaching. Everything Mr. Kolmagorov said during lessons was very clear and detailed, which is something that really improved the way I studied. Thanks to the structure, motivation, and help from Prep Expert, I was able to achieve great results. I enjoyed their classes immensely and would do it again. I highly recommend attending Prep Expert and listening to Mr. Kolmagorov because he knows his subject perfectly.”

“My instructors name is Ethan Moy, and he teaches the course with so much inviting energy, that it makes the course much more entertaining. I love how Ethan's energy makes everyone feel included in class and also makes the course feel like a fun conversation than a tedious course .His courses not only helped me with understanding the ACT but to help me in interacting more with other people. “I took the 6-week ACT course with Ethan Moy, and it was one of the most engaging and helpful classes I have taken. Ethan created a really supportive and personal learning environment by always asking students about their lives, interests, and goals, which made the class feel much more connected and comfortable. One thing I especially appreciated was how he used things he knew about us in practice questions and examples to keep everyone involved and interested during lessons. “PrepExpert has been amazing for me! My instructor is Ilia Kolmagorov, and the way he explains things and structures the class is perfect for me. I’ve always had trouble with math and understanding it, but the way Ilia explains it makes it make so much sense. Its not only helped me on the SAT and the practice tests, but it’s helped me in school too. The english part of it is great too and it’s expanded my vocabulary a lot and given me lots of good strategies to take the SAT and get the best score I can. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who needs SAT help and even if you already have a good score you will score even higher after taking the class.”

“My instructor, Ellie Kazmierowicz, was such a great help in better understanding the AP European History Course. Although I have yet to receive my exam score, I am almost positive it will reflect her teaching skills. Her ability to shift focus on my weaknesses and aid in increasing my confidence in certain areas that were once lacking is outstanding. It’s sometimes difficult to find someone who is not afraid to go back and re-explain a concept THOROUGHLY, yet she was always eager to put my knowledge first and foremost. I most definitely plan to book more sessions with her for other history courses that I plan to take in the near future.”

“I had a great experience with Prep Expert, especially because of my instructor, Kevin Parish. Kevin teaches extremely well and has the best pedagogy I’ve ever had from an instructor. His Dropbox resources were especially helpful because they gave me organized practice, clear strategies, and extra review material that I could keep coming back to outside of class. What I appreciated most was how objective he made the test feel: instead of the SAT feeling vague or unpredictable, his instruction broke it down into patterns, rules, and repeatable methods. “My instructor Shivang Giri was phenomenal, helping me understand questions that I previously would not have. We hammered in concepts that I was the worst at, and pushed through with great pace, and his eagerness to help was outstanding. I found the tutoring to meet me where I am and push me forward at a great pace. However, the fact that it was online was a bit off-putting because it made linking with the professor a bit harder. Overall, it was a great session and a nice time.”
