“I had the pleasure of taking a course with Mr. Ilia Kolmagorov, who is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about teaching his students the best methods to ACE the ACT. Beyond the 25 methods we learn for each section, it’s clear that Mr. Kolmagorov genuinely cares about his students’ mental health! He dedicates the first 10 minutes of each class to help us refocus, and set in stone what goals we have for ourselves. Throughout the 6 weeks, I saw major improvements in my test scores— an 8 point increase in English, 6 in Math, and 7 in Reading. Ilia Kolmagorov is an amazing ACT tutor who has both the brains and humor to make everything enjoyable!! I truly recommend him to anyone who wants to see a clear difference and growth in their scores.”

“I extremley appreciated Raghav's help today. We went over reading passages which isn't my stongest section and he was very patient and allowed me to make mistakes. After I made these mistakes, he thorougly guided me and explained why that specific answer was correct. Raghav also gave me beneficial tips on how to go about answer choices and cancel them out and I saw myself improving with each question.”

“Prep expert is great. My tutor Sital paudel has helped me so much and she is super kind.Even if i get a question wrong or don't understand something she takes the time to make sure to explain the question and the correct answer step by step to make sure i reach my full potential. Also my score increase went from a 1250 to a 1450 in the matter of 2 weeks based off the help that was provided me by this great tutor. This is such a great oppertunity and i would definitely recommend others to take this course with the tutors that they need.”

“From a 920 to 1340– Worth Every Penny! I recently finished the Prep Expert course with Taylor, and the results were incredible. Before starting, I was really struggling with multiple section in Math such as Geometry and Data Analysis , but my instructor broke down the strategies in a way that actually made sense and fun to learn at the same time. Before this course, my strategy for the Math section was essentially 'prayers and click the answer' I was out here guessing C for every single multiple choice question like it was my job. After working with Taylor Trautwein, I actually started using strategies and logic for my answer. My brain feels significantly less like a browser with 47 tabs open. What I Liked Most: The Strategies: Unlike other courses, the 'Perfect Score' tips were easy to memorize and apply under the clock pressure on the practice exams. Engagement: Taylor kept the sessions high-energy, which made the long 3 hour class sessions much more bearable. The Homework: It was challenging (especially the hard math quizzes) but directly helped me when I saw those kind of problems on the practice exams. The Results: My score went from a 920 to a 1340, a total improvement of 420 points! Which might not sound like a whole lot for someone who hasnt taken the SAT or PSAT yet but this is HUGE! I feel so much more confident heading into college applications now. Highly recommend this for anyone serious about hitting their goal score.”

“I took Prepexpert with Taylor Trautwein, and I can say my brain has never worked harder. I really like her boss strat and I won't expose all the secrets but it feels like a cheat code for the sat. She also did a pretty good job explaining the whole course and was also able to explain any questions I had. An another strat that really helped me was trying to engage and make the passage interesting, cause honestly it felt like they were written in 1985. But overall the course was fun and it was pretty interesting.”

“This course was very helpful! I would definitely recommend this course to anyone struggling with the SAT, or anyone that is looking to improve their score. My instructor was Taylor Trautwein. She was very patient and helpful throughout the course. “Prep Expert has been such an amazing help for me when other programs couldn’t assist me any further. I had the pleasure of having Ms. Taylor Trautwein who was amazing every class, and made sure to keep class fun and engaging with her signature “Taylor Tips.” Not to mention that she is so funny, and I always laughed at her jokes whenever she would make one which always made me excited to come back to class the following week. She also helped me gain about 120 pts on my very next practice SAT which gave me even more confidence and motivation to study outside of just class time. I love that with Prep Expert, class doesn’t feel so much like a chore but a fun and interactive learning experience. “Prep Expert with Taylor Trautwein was honestly way better than I expected. I thought it was just gonna be a bunch of boring strategies, but Taylor somehow made test prep actually fun (didn’t think that was possible, lol) What I liked most was how she explained everything in a way that actually made sense. She broke down questions step-by-step and gave little tricks that made it feel like I was lowkey outsmarting the test instead of stressing over it. Her energy kept the class alive too, so it never felt dull or dragged out. Overall, if you want test prep that doesn’t feel like torture, I’d definitely recommend Prep Expert… and Taylor deserves an award for keeping us awake and learning at the same time lol😂 I rate my experience a 10/10 and most definitely recommend.”

“This course was amazing. I was super skeptical about the 200 point raise guarantee, but literally the first practice test I took went up from a 1320 to a 1490. It was incredible. My instructor Taylor Trautwein was extremely capable. It was obvious that she understood how the SAT works and how to do well on it, and her teaching was clear, easy-to-understand, and practical. “My instructor Taylor Trautwein was amazing throughout my 6-week flagship course. She always made the class engaging and fun for everyone with her funny drawings and eager-to-help attitude. I really enjoyed the way she teaches and how she waits until everybody in the class understands a question. She is dedicated to this class and encourages her students to do the same. “My instructed was Taylor. T, I really like how friendly she was and how she tried giving personal experience and advice along with the Prep Expert strategies, it was very encouraging. Overall, the course was pretty helpful in giving different approaches to SAT questions, however, I will say that it does not really go in to detail on re-teaching concepts.”

“I took Prep Expert with Taylor Trautwein, and I’m not even going to lie, I went into it thinking it would just be another boring test prep class. I was very wrong. My score went up 180 points, which is honestly kind of crazy. One of the best parts of the course was Taylor. Her “Taylor Tips” were the highlight of every class and actually stuck in my head during the test. The way she used our generation’s lingo made a big difference. It felt like someone who actually understands how we think was breaking everything down. She also made the test feel way less overwhelming. It started to feel more like a game where you recognize patterns and avoid the tricks. I definitely caught myself thinking “Taylor literally warned us about this.” Overall, the course actually works if you put in the effort, and it made me way more confident going into the test. Definitely worth it.”

“I had a great experience with Prep Expert. The classes made the preparation for the SAT a lot easier for me. Mr.Kolmagorov really did an amazing job explaining strategies and gave helpful tips on how to figure out problems, answer questions faster and how to avoid making simple mistakes. He made class really fun and easy to understand. Mr.Kolmagorov made the class feel lighter and not as stressed because he would make jokes here and there and tell us stories to keep us involved and entertained in the class. Going over our homework helped me a lot because it taught me about my mistakes and how to fix it. It definitely helped with my confidence when it came to problems. Overall, I would 100% recommend Prep Expert to my friends or to anyone studying for the SAT. The classes are very organized and definitely made me feel a lot more confident about taking the SAT.”

“I had a great experience with Prep Expert, especially with my instructor, Illia Kolmagorov. He’s an excellent SAT teacher who really keeps the class focused and productive. One thing I really appreciated was his refocusing exercises—they helped me stay engaged and think more clearly during practice. When I started the course, my raw SAT score was 1150, and by week three it had already improved to 1170. Seeing that improvement so quickly showed me that the strategies we were learning actually work. What stood out most was how much his advice helped beyond just the SAT.
