“My instructor was Dr.Illia Kolmagorov, I really enjoyed this course and I learned many new things. One of my favorite thing that he did was that he always started our lesson with a breathing exercise to prepare us for the lesson. I also liked how he reviewed our homework and explained it well. The homework was pretty challenging but throughout this course I’ve seen my scores improve. I definitely got the hang of it towards the end. The only things that I would want him to improve is to make the lessons more engaging. I’ve joined another course with another instructor and she did polls for every question so everyone can participate. Even when I didn’t know the answer I always tried my best and I was super engaged when she explained how to solve it. Overall Dr. Illia was a super nice and professional instructor, I really think that these lessons will help me get a high SAT score. I would recommend him to a friend so they can have this same experience as I did.”

“Prep Expert has been one of the best academic decisions I’ve made. This course didn’t just teach me test strategies — it completely changed how I approach learning, problem-solving, and time management. Every lesson felt intentional, well-structured, and focused on helping students actually improve, not just memorize tricks. What I really appreciated was how clear and engaging the instruction was. Concepts that used to feel overwhelming became manageable and even enjoyable. The instructor explains things in a way that makes you feel confident instead of stressed, and you can tell they genuinely care about student success. I also loved how mistakes were treated as learning opportunities — that mindset helped me stay motivated and consistent. Something I didn’t expect but ended up loving was how the course built discipline and confidence. The strategies taught here are useful not only for standardized tests, but for school exams and future academics as well. I feel more prepared, more organized, and much more confident going into tests now. One improvement that could make the course even better would be adding more optional challenge questions or short recap quizzes at the end of each lesson, just to reinforce concepts even more. That said, the course is already extremely thorough and effective as it is. Overall, Prep Expert truly delivers on its promise. If you’re looking for a course that actually makes a difference and helps you grow as a student, this is 100% worth it. I’m really grateful I enrolled and would absolutely recommend it to anyone serious about improving their scores and their mindset.”

“My instructor is Ilia Kolmagorov, I had a score improvement of 200 points maybe a little more. What I really liked about this course was that I learned important skills for the SAT and I was surprised to see that by implementing those skills I learned I was able to do way better. I really liked my instructor he taught the course well and knew the material exceptionally well (If he took the actual SAT I don't doubt that he'll finish exteremly fast and get a perfect score easily). I enjoyed this course a lot and it helped me build discipline to practice for the SAT.”

“I took the 6-week flagship SAT course with Dr. Ilia Kolmagorov and in my opinion, it was life changing. I went from scoring 1100-1200s to 1300-1400s on practice tests within weeks. I started this course as a confused teenager not knowing what to do, and I completed it as a confident individual who learnt strategies I can use in any standardized tests. I love the structure of the course; the assignments, live classes, office hours, etc. really set Prep Expert apart from the other options we considered. All-in-all, I had a wonderful experience with Prep Expert and Dr. Kolmagorov and will definetly be referring my friends!”

“Declan’s Prep Expert tutor was Julia Morales. Julia and Declan connected immediately on many levels, which fostered a strong tutoring relationship. Julia went above and beyond to find time for Declan’s tutoring sessions and encouraged him relentlessly during the sessions. Declan felt comfortable and challenged with Julia’s instructions. Julia gave him all the tools to apply in his ACT test. We are grateful for her support and encouragement and wish we had found her earlier in the process. Declan has not yet received his ACT score.”

“I've had Ms. Julia Morales as my AP Statistics tutor for almost 3 months at this point. She manages to review a lot of questions within an hour and explains the concepts in a way I can understand. “My instructor is Shefali Sanwal. She is a great instructor, as she is very clear and concise in her teaching methods. She is straight to the point, cutting out the clutter and keeping the learning material very easy to understand. I haven’t taken the SAT yet, but in the practice tests, my score has gone from 1290 to 1380. I liked how there were general strategies rather than just math and reading strategies. All of the strategies have helped improve my understanding of the SAT over all, along with reducing my anxiety and fear of taking such important tests. I would definitely recommend this program to others and I am very happy with what this course has taught me.”

“Arshan Prasla did a phenomenal job tutoring me for my AP Computer Science Principles mid-term exam! He provided helpful explanations and made efficient use of the tutoring time. “I genuinely enjoyed every one of my classes with Ms. Ellie. Before working with her, there were so many concepts I struggled with or had never fully understood, but she explained everything with such clarity and patience that things finally started to make sense. She taught me so much—truly more than I expected—and her lessons played a huge role in helping me prepare for the SAT with confidence. What I appreciated most was her teaching style. “I had Arshan Prasla as my tutor and he was amazing. He had taught me many strategies on how to manage my time during the SAT and some tricks for certain questions. Before I this, I had gotten a 1230 on my SAT. After I had finnished all of my sessions I took a practice SAT before my real one and I got a 1430, thats a 200 point increase. Overall I am very happy I had taken him as my tutor and I would recomend him to anyone in need of a tutor.”
