“I was enrolled in the 6 Week SAT course, taught by Ilia Kolmagorov. Off the bat, I was amazed by the amount of helpful materials I had at my disposal. Each book, vocabulary list, math quiz, and full length practice test helped make me more than confident that I had everything I needed to truly understand the SAT and everything I could encounter. Moreover, I immediately saw an increase in my score as I took more math quizzes and practice tests. I cannot express how much relief it brought me to know I was truly learning valuable strategies and techniques. Lastly, Ilia Kolmagorov was an impeccable teacher. Wickedly funny, immensely intelligent, and always made sure he did all he could to improve the students headspace’s. “Feel what you’re feeling,” he would say. Every class was a pleasure, and always truly engaging. Thank you Ilia and PrepExpert!”

“I first wanted to say thanks to Ilia for his help in getting me to improve by 150 points. Before his course I was at 1330, and now I am at 1480. I did really enjoy his involvement and charisma in keeping me attached to the lesson. While I did find the course really helpful, I still think that if the course when over more complex material - like strict grammar rules and standard English conventions - towards the beginning, I maybe would have had a stronger score improvement. Other than that, I wanted to say thank you again for helping me improve my score for college, really appreciate the time and effort you put in for my benefit.”

“Prep Expert was honestly one of the best programs I’ve used for SAT prep. Going into it, the test felt pretty daunting, but the way the course was set up completely changed how I approached everything. A huge reason for that was Ilia Kolmagorov. The way Ilia talked during the lessons made a massive difference. Instead, the tone was super clear, practical, and easy to follow. “My instructors name was Vishnu Bharadwaaj. he was terrific in answering any confusion within solving problems for math and reading, Additionally he really personalized the meeting for everyone’s weak spots.I found this time valuable and gained a lot of new skills and a different perspective on answering questions that I don’t know. He was very welcoming and kept everyone engaged even when it was online and couldn’t see anyone. I have a notebook full of notes that I will be applying to my study time! I took a practice test after this course and gained 30 point increase. This might not seem like a lot but for the last couple of months I have been stuck at the same score and feeling discouraged and honestly getting anxiety looking at those same perpetual scores . But when I saw a 30 point boost it really made my day in seeing what I learned being put into use!”

“My instructor's name is Miguel Chavira and I'm honestly so glad that I got to learn from him. He is very insightful and makes sure he conveys things clearly so that there is no room for confusion. Additionally, he makes sure to encourage us to have confidence in ourselves and work hard. He reinforces basic topics and teaches you from the ground up for just about anything. Mr. Chavira not only teaches you ACT strategies but he also teaches you how to apply them to other aspects of your life and rewire the way you approach studying for things as a whole. Before, I used to feel so nervous about taking the test but Mr. Chavira helped me approach it with a more positive outlook and I can confidently say that I'm not worried about it anymore. My score improved by six points.”

“For the past 6 weeks, I have taken the SAT Prep Expert course with my instructor, Ms. Isabella Raicu. I was always having trouble with the reading/writing section of the SAT, especially the harder problems. After taking this course, I saw my score increase by over 70 points on this section alone. She taught us so many strategies, some of which I already knew, but others that I have found extremely helpful in solving harder SAT problems. She breaks down all the topics step-by-step, and explains each problem with so much care. Also, instead of solving the problems for us, she gives us an opportunity to solve it before we get the solution from her, and she also explains why some of our common misconceptions are wrong and how to correct them. She also made the classes feel welcoming and fun, by incorporating kahoots and other fun activities into the class. My SAT is in a week, and I feel like this course and Ms. Isabella greatly increased my confidence and ability in the SAT! “I had Isabella Raicu as my instructor and the class was great. She was so helpful and really in depth talked about all the strategies. I took the SAT half way through this course and already recieved a higher/better score. My score grew from a 1240 to a 1300. I liked this course because it taught me the content that allows me to not rely on desmos and really be able to solve all the problems on my own. So, now I can't get stuck. The reading strategies have helped me a great amount too.”

“Isabella Raicu I had an enjoyable experience. Classes were not at the most convenient time, but it was managable. Also my instructor was very nice and openminded. SHe made class engaging and fun. I have not taken the test yet so I'm not sure what my score imporvements will be but hopefully it works out! I think having the zoom classes can make the environment a bit less engaging, but Isabella did a good job regardless.”
