“PrepExpert has been amazing for me! My instructor is Ilia Kolmagorov, and the way he explains things and structures the class is perfect for me. I’ve always had trouble with math and understanding it, but the way Ilia explains it makes it make so much sense. Its not only helped me on the SAT and the practice tests, but it’s helped me in school too. The english part of it is great too and it’s expanded my vocabulary a lot and given me lots of good strategies to take the SAT and get the best score I can. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who needs SAT help and even if you already have a good score you will score even higher after taking the class.”

“Ilia Kolmagorov made reviewing and preparing for the SAT fun. I especially appreciated taking time to mentally prepare for the sessions before by taking deep breaths and thinking positively. The mindset going in the exam is very important and isn’t addressed often, however, Kolmagorov made it a point to prepare in that way as well.”

“Mr Ilia was an amazing teacher. He was so good with explaining complex ideas and also made sure to keep it fun throughout the whole course. There was never a time where I was bored or didn’t want to join the class because he was genuinely interested in teaching us and answering any questions.”

“My instructor, Ellie Kazmierowicz, was such a great help in better understanding the AP European History Course. Although I have yet to receive my exam score, I am almost positive it will reflect her teaching skills. Her ability to shift focus on my weaknesses and aid in increasing my confidence in certain areas that were once lacking is outstanding. It’s sometimes difficult to find someone who is not afraid to go back and re-explain a concept THOROUGHLY, yet she was always eager to put my knowledge first and foremost. I most definitely plan to book more sessions with her for other history courses that I plan to take in the near future.”

“I had a great experience with Prep Expert, especially because of my instructor, Kevin Parish. Kevin teaches extremely well and has the best pedagogy I’ve ever had from an instructor. His Dropbox resources were especially helpful because they gave me organized practice, clear strategies, and extra review material that I could keep coming back to outside of class. What I appreciated most was how objective he made the test feel: instead of the SAT feeling vague or unpredictable, his instruction broke it down into patterns, rules, and repeatable methods. Overall, the course helped me feel much more prepared and confident, and Kevin’s teaching was a huge reason why. Kevin is the GOAT of all instructors.”

“Kevin Parrish was by far one of the best instructors I’ve had. He made every class engaging, motivating, and easy to understand, even for difficult topics. Before taking Prep Expert, I struggled with timing and confidence on standardized tests, but Kevin’s strategies and teaching style helped me improve both my score and my test-taking mindset. What I liked most was how interactive the course was and how he broke down complex questions into simple steps that actually worked. The homework, practice tests, and proven strategies made a huge difference in my preparation. Kevin genuinely cared about helping students succeed, and his energy kept the class focused and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Prep Expert and Kevin Parrish to anyone serious about improving their score and feeling more prepared on test day.”

“My instructor Shivang Giri was phenomenal, helping me understand questions that I previously would not have. We hammered in concepts that I was the worst at, and pushed through with great pace, and his eagerness to help was outstanding. I found the tutoring to meet me where I am and push me forward at a great pace. However, the fact that it was online was a bit off-putting because it made linking with the professor a bit harder. Overall, it was a great session and a nice time.”

“Working with my prep expert tutor felt less pressuring and stressful, like most of the time I study for SAT, but instead more of learning how the test actually works. My tutor is Illia Kolmagorov and he was amazing. He made learning really fun and interactive. Usually he would make jokes that will make everyone in the class more alert, and it general it made us comfortable and eager to learn more about SAT. Before him, whenever I tried reading any passage for SAT it was literally terrible. I would either forget what i’m reading halfway, or I would just lose interest. It was not until he showed us the fake interest method, that was when I started to actually like reading passages. The fake interest method, (We would usually call it larp) it was a method where we fixed our mindset to make us pretend like we actually liked the passage we were reading, and trust me it works 100%! By the end of tutoring, I was not just getting better scores, I was more confident overall. If you want a tutor who is patient, encouraging, and actually knows how to help students improve instead of just memorizing, I seriously recommend Illia Kolmagorov. Easily one of the best academic decisions I made this year.”

“Prep expert has been great. From the first session to the last I have seen a 400 point improvement on the practice exams assigned. I truly believe that because of the strategies purposed I have been able to grow in my understanding of the test. One thing that I wish would be improved is the quantity of practice questions during the class, this would help to be able to work through questions that we might not understand while being able to ask questions. My instructor, Ilia Kolmagorov was great, he was very interactive and made the long sessions go quick. I feel ten times more confident while taking practice tests and approaching quizzes as I did while I was walking in. And I thank the prep expert course and sessions for that. Thank you to the staff and my instructor.”

“Ilia Kolmagorov's class was truly enjoyable. Instead of immediately beginning the lecture, he starts off with breathing and focusing exercises, with helps to get through the rest of the day. Because of the useful strategies that the course provides, I feel better prepared for my test day.”

“Ilia Kolmagorov was a fantastic instructor for this course. I really liked the humor and charm he put into the tasks to make them fun and engaging. My score on the practice tests started out barely higher than the score I initially got and now I am consistently getting in the 1400 range and I owe it all to this course. Thank you.”
