The instructor of the Founder's course, Dr. Shaan Patel, and my tutor, Vishnu Bharadwaaj, are both excellent, efficient, and very helpful. Specifically, Vishnu Bharadwaaj provides very personalized tutoring that helps to fix specific mistakes. He is very observant and detailed, showing that he cares and puts effort into making his tutoring as helpful as possible, which it is.”

“Taking the Prep Expert SAT 8 Week Capstone Course was an absolute game-changer for my test-prep journey, and I couldn't be happier with the results! A massive part of my success is thanks to my incredible instructor, Ilia Kolmagorov. Ilia is so knowledgeable and engaging. He always breaks down complex concepts, and he keeps the entire class motivated throughout every session. Thanks to Ilia's expert guidance and Prep Expert’s rigorous curriculum, I am continuously improving! While this class was amazing, here are 4 ways to improve the class. 1. More Break Time: The class often felt really draining, so adding an extra short 5-minute breather every 30-45 minutes would help keep energy levels high. 2. Slightly Slower Pacing on Hard Questions: While the speed-solving strategies are amazing, spending just a bit more time unpacking the absolute hardest algebra and advanced math problems would benefit students who struggle with foundational math. 3. Office Hours: Offering a designated, scheduled brief check-in with Ilia outside of class time would give us a chance to target their specific personal weak spots more closely. Maybe there should be a QnA chat so students can talk and help each other?”

“Instructors name: Ilia Kolmagorov Enrolling in the Prep Expert 8-Week Capstone Course was a very beneficial decision I made for my test prep journey. The structured pacing (which uses the Pomodoro Technique) and strategy’s helped me to perfect my approach to the test. My instructor explained all of the problems very well helping me to understand everything and kept his classes engaging. With prep experts help I have been able to raise my SAT score by 200 points!”

“I personally believe that this course was something very different and unique from the other prep courses I have been apart of. Mr. Kolmagorov made the class really engaging and really helped me understand that prepping for a test like the SAT takes alot more aspects than just practicing over and over again. His fixation on knowing the subject and developing automated skills really helped me to improve my score on the test, as well as helped me to develop as a student of overall. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in trying it!”

“Prep Expert provided me with a lot of guidance and support from start to finish by providing me with many beneficial resources and also a very helpful and understand instructor Dr Ilia Kolmagorov. I have done both private tutoring and the 8 week capstone course with him and he was able to teach me all the topics I needed to know and ensured to clear any doubts. He was always ready to answer questions and teach us in a way in which we understand. “Mr. Kolmagorov was a great teacher because he explained each strategy very clearly and while we do problems, he stresses what strategy to use. For math problems, he shows multiple ways to do the problem, so that always us to choose what strategy we can use in the future. My math score got better every time I did a Practice Test. That is because of the Hard Math Quizzes.”

“Kevin Perish held an outstanding class. Due to the fact that my class had a sub for one lesson I could see the graphic differences between an average prep expert class, and his. Within the average prep expert class there were stable notes for the content being taught, and a separate time put aside for learning hacks and advice when taking the actual PSAT, the way Kevin's class differed is explaining each question type, with out of the box thinking, helping us grasp ideas we've never looked twice at. He was able to blend the content and hacks for the PSAT seamlessly. After explaining the question type, he would pick select questions that were obviously chosen for optimal learning. After answering the question he would address the wrong answer and explain why it was wrong in a very enlightening way. Doing example questions during the class really improved my overall performance because he could explain why it was wrong. When we would make mistakes, we could learn from it and apply that strategy to a similar question. He had an advanced knowledge of the questions and made all the questions that we did have variety showing us each angle and way a problem could be shown, along with weaving it into an immersive and fun atmosphere, explaining little tidbits or fun facts that kept us engaged. He approached each one of our questions with curiosity and respect. I'm able to confidently say that his different approach made a big difference, because it was really interactive, along with the fact that his passion and knowledge of the course was obvious.”

“Vishu Bharadwaaj is very good at explaining topics and giving steps when topics or strategies are confusing. He is occasionaly late to meetings with some small time trouble, but not very late, with a maximum of 5-10 minutes later than expected. Vishnu assigns a managable workload, and this workload is also tailored for each person depending on their needs.”
