“Prep Expert somehow turned SAT prep from something I was mentally preparing to suffer through into something I actually enjoyed, which honestly deserves its own scientific study. My instructor, Shivang Giri, is genuinely a national treasure. I’m convinced this man could explain quantum physics to a toddler and somehow have the toddler getting a 1600. He has an incredible talent for making the most confusing SAT questions seem obvious, while also making the class funny enough that I occasionally forgot I was voluntarily studying. I came into this course expecting academic suffering and somehow left with actual knowledge, confidence, and significantly fewer reasons to throw my calculator across the room. 10/10 instructor, 10/10 course; Shivang deserves a raise, a trophy, and probably his own government-funded research facility.”

“I absolutely loved my Prep Expert course with Taylor! I think it’s an incredibly useful and helpful course, especially for people who are just starting out with the SAT and aren’t really sure where to begin. Taylor was an amazing instructor and made every class super engaging and enjoyable. She was always checking in on us, asking how we were doing, making sure we understood everything, and constantly giving us questions and opportunities to practice what we learned. She made the classes feel interactive rather than just sitting through a lecture. The course definitely requires dedication and effort, and you have to actually put in the work to get the most out of it, but I think that’s what makes it so effective. I had a great experience with Prep Expert, and I would absolutely recommend the course to anyone looking to get started with SAT prep.”

“Before this course, SAT prep was so daunting. It was difficult to figure out where to begin, much less what I was struggling with. All the courses I could find everywhere went over the same basic concepts that I had reviewed a million times. But Prep Expert made it simple. My instructor, Taylor Trautwein, truly understood the material. She took us through every question, thoroughly explained the homework, and answered every question. I feel so much more prepared due to her dedication and teaching skills. I find myself not only applying my new skills to SAT prep, but to all my schoolwork. My study time has improved immensely. I'm so greatful to everyone at Prep Expert for helping me on my SAT journey.”

“My instructor is Taylor Trautwein, and I gave her a four-star rating because she provided substantial help with all strategies. She receives a four because the pace is somewhat fast, making it difficult to absorb the material at that moment. Aside from that, the experience was quite good.”

“Taylor Trautwein is a phenomenal teacher. But I don’t like the strategies all that much. Especially for math and general. Most of them feel like common sense when it comes to test taking although I guess they could be reminders.”

“My instructors name was Ellie Pan. During her tutoring, I was able to improve on many of my math concepts, and she was especially helpful in helping me better understand how to tackle complicated and long reading passages. I had previously gotten a 1390 in June, and in August, I was able to get a 1460. My math score improved by 50 points and my reading score improved by 20!”

“I first wanted to say thanks to Ilia for his help in getting me to improve by 150 points. Before his course I was at 1330, and now I am at 1480. I did really enjoy his involvement and charisma in keeping me attached to the lesson. While I did find the course really helpful, I still think that if the course when over more complex material - like strict grammar rules and standard English conventions - towards the beginning, I maybe would have had a stronger score improvement. Other than that, I wanted to say thank you again for helping me improve my score for college, really appreciate the time and effort you put in for my benefit.”

“Prep Expert was honestly one of the best programs I’ve used for SAT prep. Going into it, the test felt pretty daunting, but the way the course was set up completely changed how I approached everything. A huge reason for that was Ilia Kolmagorov. The way Ilia talked during the lessons made a massive difference. Instead, the tone was super clear, practical, and easy to follow. Complex math ideas and tricky reading passages were broken down into plain English, so nothing ever felt overwhelming.”

“Isabella Raicu I had an enjoyable experience. Classes were not at the most convenient time, but it was managable. Also my instructor was very nice and openminded. SHe made class engaging and fun. I have not taken the test yet so I'm not sure what my score imporvements will be but hopefully it works out! I think having the zoom classes can make the environment a bit less engaging, but Isabella did a good job regardless.”

“Prep Expert was so helpful! My instructor was Isabella Raicu and she was absolutely amazing. I saw a 100 point increase after only 2 classes. “This course improved my score by about 100 points, it would have been more if me personally had the time to put into improving my score. Isabella Raicu, the instructor, was great and always answered the questions asked, she did go off on a lot of tangents, but overall it was a good course.”

“My instructor was Ethan Moy. He did an amazing job explaining every question thoroughly, making sure everyone understood it before he moved on. My overall score has improved from 29 to 32. I even got a perfect score on the English! I liked all of the different practice opportunities we had in this course, and I also liked all the time we spent on review. I also liked how Ethan showed multiple strategies for solving a problem and also asked us how we solved it so he could get a student's perspective.”

“Hi, my instructor was Shivang Giri, and I had a substitute Clavin. Shivang was an amazing instructor, at the beginning of any class he asked questions on how out weekends were and any questions we had, just truly engaged the class. He seemed like he loved his job, genuinely happy to teach, and was engaged with the class. As for Calvin, he's very smart but not so much engaging. It felt like he was reading off a script, like a robot instead of a human. All in all, I'm glad I took this course, I loved the homework assignments, especially that we could look at what we got wrong and redo it. I liked the BOSS solution strategy, I think that helps me in some weak spots I had. Thank you PrepExpert!”

“I really liked my instructor, Sherya Amebekar. She not only shared the strategies for the SAT, but she also gave us helpful advice about other resources we could use, such as the Educator Question Bank and Google for looking up prefixes, suffixes, and other concepts which was very helpful. I also really appreciated that she shared her own experience taking the SAT which helped me better understand the process from someone who had actually gone through it and achieved a good score. One strategy that really stood out to me was the BOSS solution. It completely changed the way I approach reading questions. Before this class, I often felt like I didn't know how to approach difficult reading questions and would feel stuck or unsure of myself. After learning and practicing the BOSS strategy, I feel much more confident and have a better idea of what to look for when answering reading questions! It was one of the strategies that made me feel like I actually had a method I could rely on instead of just guessing. Another thing I really liked was how open Sherya was to giving us her email. This allowed me to ask questions even after the class was over, which I found really helpful. Sometimes I would have liked her to slow down a little, but overall, she was very good at explaining things, listening to students, and being flexible, which I really liked! I did see an improvement in my score and I gained a lot more confidence in my ability to succeed on the SAT. I really liked how the class went through different strategies and then gave us examples to practice with which actually helped applying the strategies to questions instead of just learning them and forgetting them. I also liked how the homework challenged me to take practice tests each week, learn vocabulary, work through harder questions which helped me improve my skills and become more comfortable with questions. One thing I wish we had more of was practice with harder reading questions. We did get opportunities to practice difficult math questions, and I think having more challenging reading questions would have been helpful too because reading comprehension is something I struggle with struggled and this would allow me to apply stragities. Overall, I found this class very helpful to improve on the SAT through consistent practice and useful strategies, but it also helped improve my confidence in myself! Sherya was a great instructor because she not only taught us strategies, but also gave us the resources, advice, and support to continue to improve!”
