I have completed other test prep programs for the SAT before PrepExpert and can confidently say that PrepExpert is the most effective method to preparing for the SAT. What sets PrepExpert apart in my opinion is the access they give to students to further their SAT score to its highest potential if they desire it. Of course, though, this comes with A LOT of work. I don’t think I really understood what I was signing up to do when I registered for the capstone course; all I really thought of was the 200 point guarantee. I study for the SAT daily to complete the homework required for this course and still find myself struggling to finish all the work they assigned. I’m not complaining though! I am grateful for the resources PrepExpert gave me to perform well on the test and am seeing significant jumps in my score. I started at a 1080 back in December and am now scoring 1320 on my practices tests- I am still studying and hoping for an even higher score, but I cannot express enough gratitude to PrepExpert and Olivia Owens, my instructor, for all they have done to aid me in my test prep journey. Olivia has done a phenomenal job at ensuring all the students she is teaching are on the same page with what is being taught, understands all info, and has a chance to ask any questions they have at any point. She recognizes each individual student by name which made me feel included and heard although on a zoom, and she just has a way of making things make sense. Definitely recommend! The one thing that I feel PrepExpert needs to work on is their customer service and software within the website. While taking a practice test, the website was glitching and I kept being brought back to the home page of PrepExpert, although my time on the test was still ticking. I was an hour into my test and this stressed me out, losing my progress and needing to submit the test with what I had completed since the website would not let me finish my test with my full time. I contacted Customer support and they were not at all helpful. They tried to prove me wrong for having an error during the test and tried to blame it on my device, which doesn’t make much sense to me because I was being brought back to the main page of PrepExpert while taking a test (issue in the website). This experience was really stressful for me and the customer support was not at all understanding, or apologetic for the error in their software. They also did nothing to remedy the problem other than tell me to retake the entire test, although I was just under halfway through it already. This problem happened twice while I was taking a practice test. Aside than the sometimes questionable website and unhelpful customer service, I really did learn a lot at PrepExpert and am so grateful to my instructor and the resources I am still able to use to prepare me for the SAT. Thanks PrepExpert!

My instructor was Mr. Miguel Chavira, and this class taught me lessons I’ll never forget. I took the 8-week Capstone class, and not only did I improve my score, but I also learned how to strategically approach and tackle questions that seem difficult even beyond the SAT. All the digital exams were extremely accurate to how the real test looks. In fact, some of the questions were on the actual SAT, just with different values or wording. I really appreciate this class, and if you’re wondering whether you should buy it, I believe you should! That said, I recommend doing some studying on your own first, then taking the Capstone class in the three months leading up to your test for the best results. Trying to take the course without any prior preparation might make it a bit harder to reach a top score—if that’s your goal—but everyone is different.

My instructor Taylor Trautwein was below par. During the math section, she got some answers incorrect, and during the reading section, she did not explain each answer choice—she immediately jumped to the correct one. She even explicitly said in class that she didn’t know something and was just going off the answer key. I feel that if she does not fully understand a concept, it becomes difficult for her to effectively explain it to us. On another note, the weekend review as a class was helpful. It was good to understand and get an overview of all the strategies as a quick reminder. The only downside was the instructor. That said, I thought the overall class structure and material were strong. My favorite reading strategy was BOSS (Build Your Own Simple Solution); it helped me focus and simplify difficult questions. For math, I really liked the TAC (Try Answer Choices) strategy—it made solving challenging problems much easier. I also appreciated that we were given tough math, reading, and writing questions instead of just hard math quizzes. The tougher content helped push me and exposed areas I needed to work on. I think it would be even better if there were more time built in to go over homework. Being able to ask specific questions helps me learn more effectively. Overall, the class was valuable, and with a more knowledgeable instructor, it could be great.

Amazing course. Really helpful with all of the tips they give and all of the practice tests and the hard math quizzes provided. My instructor was Illia Kolmagorov and was an amazing tutor for the 6 weeks I had him for.

My instructor’s name is Taylor Trautwein. When I first signed up for this course I had wanted to improve my score but never would I have even thought that I could improve it by at least 200 points. I had taken a prep course and a tutoring course and neither one had been that beneficial to me because they would be reviewing the basics and I would here questions about simple problems I already understood how to complete. For example, those courses told me to “look at the college board strategies and khan academy practice problems”, but this course has specified that using those to practice is the opposite of what I should be doing. Even though the zoom calls are long and require a lot of brain power, I believe that they are definitely worth it because of how much improvement I have seen over the course of my journey with prep expert. One must know that there is a difference between taking the course just to get it over with, and maximizing your learning experience by taking notes and trying your very best on every practice quiz. I have maximized my experience by harnessing self motivation and paying attention to the best of my ability in this class, and it shows with my dramatic score increase, which I will state at the end. What I enjoyed about this course was the environment and how engaging my instructor Taylor was through the zoom calls, encouraging us to react to her drawings and type in the chat how we are feeling throughout the day. She seemed very interested in our plans and experiences outside of the course as well. I strongly recommend this course to others who really care about their SAT score and are willing to persevere through this course for a guaranteed improvement. My first SAT score that I took in March was a 1300, and the practice test on prep expert that I took on May 14th I had gotten a 1490.

I had the privilege of working with Taylor Trautwein during my SAT classes, and I can confidently say she played an important role in my score. From the beginning, she took the time to understand our classes strengths and weaknesses, making sure each lesson addressed the areas where we needed the most improvement. Her explanations were always clear she and she had a shortcut for making complex concepts feel manageable. Whether it was going over tricky math problems or reviewing grammar rules, Taylor was patient and encouraging, which made learning feel less stressful. She taught me how to manage my time effectively during the exam, approach questions methodically, and even offered great tips on how to make educated guesses when I wasn’t sure of an answer. Beyond the content Taylor’s motivational support kept me focused and confident throughout the entire process. Thanks to her guidance, I felt fully prepared and was able to perform well on the SAT. I would truly recommend her to anyone studying for the sat

Prep Expert is a rigors course that allows student to really go in depth on certain topics and materials that are shown on the SAT. My SAT instructor, Taylor Trautwein, was an amazing instructor. She showcased her knowledgeable skills, patience, and dedication to the course. She had great knowledge in the Reading sections, specifically understanding the main concept of passages and comprehending the meaning behind them. I enjoyed the breaks we we get every hour and enjoyed the polls.

My instructor’s name is Taylor Trautwein; I have not taken the June SAT yet so I cannot say how much my score has improved. What I liked about the course was that the instructor was able to engage me with the lessons and concepts about how to answer questions correctly, which makes me more confident in my skills.

Taking the Prep Expert course with Taylor Trautwein was one of the best academic decisions I’ve ever made. Going into the class, I felt overwhelmed by the SAT and unsure of how to improve my score—but that completely changed thanks to Taylor’s incredible instruction and the course’s structured approach. Taylor was not just a teacher—she was a coach, a motivator, and a mentor throughout the process. She broke down every section of the SAT in a way that was easy to understand, while also sharing high-level strategies that only come from years of experience. Her energy and clarity made even the most complicated material feel manageable, and she always took time to answer our questions thoroughly. What truly impressed me was how personalized the course felt. Taylor made an effort to learn where each of us struggled and offered targeted advice to help us grow. She celebrated our wins, kept us accountable, and genuinely cared about our success. By the end of the course, I raised my SAT by over 100 points—a result that felt almost impossible when I first started. Beyond the score increase, I came away with sharper test-taking skills, stronger time management, and way more confidence in my academic abilities.

My instructor Isabella Raciu was very thorough and clear with her presentations. Reading was more so common sense but the strategies for both math and reading will help me in the long run when talking standardize tests, not just the SAT. Math was more difficult but with the amount of practice Prep Expert has given me I am more than confident that my score will increase. I would like to thank Isabella for her patience and belief in not just myself but all her students. I would also like to thank Prep Expert not only as a program but the company as a whole. What they are able to do for students is truley nothing short of a miracle. Colleges that seemed out of reach are suddenly possible again and I am truley thank full for this program and my tutor, Isabella Raciu.

I took the 6 week flagship SAT course with Isabella Raicu and I really liked the class. The class comprehensively covered many topics seen on the test and taught me strategies that helped me increase my practice test SAT score. I especially liked the format of the class because it helped break up the different subjects the SAT covers. Over all, this course was very helpful in my SAT journey.

This course helped me improve my mindset toward standardized test taking and gave my helpful strategies. This course kept me on track and focused for my overall goal. My only set back was going on hard math review, when both the instructor and I didn't know how to answer the question and it was confusing.

Miguel Chavira was someone I would like to have as a personal tutor. His way of teaching really helped me understand most the lessons and whenever I had any questions. He always read my questions and he did his best to answer it in a way I understand it. I don't believe he ever missed one questions because he is that type of tutor. A tutor that cares for his students and wish the best. As one of his students, I wish him the best. Thank you Miguel, I won't let you down.

Prep Expert was incredibly helpful for my preparation of the SAT exam. My instructor, Emma Skyler, was very thorough in her explanations regarding not only WHY the right answer is correct, but HOW to reach the answer organically on the real test. While I was already scoring very high on the math section before Prep Expert, my average question answering speed greatly improved after gaining a better understanding of the more complex questions. The Reading and Writing sections have always been my weak points, but Emma showed us amazing strategies that I used in practice (such as BOSS, 7-Repetition, etc.) which greatly raised my score. This course most certainly had the biggest impact on my improvement. Thank you so much!
