“I had a great experience taking the 4-week PSAT Prep Course with my instructor Ethan Moy! At first the idea of a 3 hour class seemed boring, but he made the classes engaging, interactive, and entertaining, so I never felt bored. He explained challenging concepts in a simple way and taught strategies that helped me solve problems more efficiently. I also became much more confident in my reading/writing skills throughout the course. Most importantly, my PSAT score improved by 200 points, which I'm really pleased with. Our teacher assistant, Sital Paudel, was also very helpful, because she would explain certain topics whenever someone was confused, which helped make the material more easier to understand. I would definitely recommend Ethan and Pep Expert to anyone looking to seriously improve their PSAT score!”

“Mr. Ethan Moy is one of the best tutors out there. He went in depth into all the topics and made it fun and very engaging helping me learn a lot from them. Sital, the TA, also helped out a lot answering a lot of questions and clarifying things throughout the course. Thanks to Mr. Moy my PSAT score increased from 1260 to a whopping 1500 making me feel more confident for the upcoming PSAT. This course has taught me a lot of new strategies and techqniques and I definetly recommend Mr. Moy and Sital since they helped me a lot in my learning process and have helped me improve my PSAT score drastically. “When completing PSAT practice tests prior to Prep Expert I took too long on questions, debated answers too much and ended up with a time crunch far too often. However, the Prep Expert strategies helped me greatly. The strategies themselves are clear, concise and help reduce time per question. They make each convoluted question simple and straightforward to complete. My instructor, Ethan Moy, was great at explaining each strategy in an understandable fashion, and chose great questions to test each and every one of them. The TA, Sital, was also great at explaining any confusing question and helping any confused student in the chat. My score went from a 1200 to a 1460 in just one week of the PSAT strategies!”

“Mr. (Ethan)Moy & Ms. Sithal have been incredible teachers for this course. I appreciate that cool new strategies I learned, for example BOSS. Mr. Moy had such a positive attitude that impacts me to keep trying especially when I’m exhausted after a long day of school and I don’t have it in me to hop on the Zoom Call. Though, there were some days a bit difficult than others- his encouragement and enthusiasm is what creates a helpful and comforting environment for the students, like myself, to express themselves and make mistakes without feeling judged.”

“My tutor was Sital Paudel. Although I haven't taken an official SAT after doing tutoring with her yet, I've gone from scoring in the 1400 range on my actual SATs to consistent 1550+ on the Bluebook practice tests. I really appreciated her straightforwardness and her ability to identify what I needed to work on quickly, as well as the fact that each session and the homework she assigned afterward felt really personalized and tailored to me. Overall, it's been amazing working with her!”

“I actually really liked Shivang’s SAT course. He explains things really clearly and gives a lot of shortcuts that make the questions way less scary. Before the class, I would look at an SAT question and just hope the answer would reveal itself to me. Now I actually know what I’m doing… most of the time. The classes are also pretty entertaining, which is impressive considering we’re literally talking about the SAT. Shivang somehow made studying feel less like studying and more like being forced to become academically responsible. Would definitely recommend if you want to improve your score without having the SAT ruin your life. My brain has been through a lot, but we’re surviving.”

“Before Shivang's SAT Course, I thought the SAT was a stupidly boring course. However, I now realize it is a personal battle between me, my nearly dead calculator, and my terrible reading skills 😭. Shivang made confusing SAT questions to actually feeling understandable. It was as if I was staring at ancient hieroglyphics but then it turned into the most complicated english I have ever seen - MASSIVE improvement. I would recommend anyone to take this course, regardless of the classes you take in school, or what grade you are in, or even how prepared you already feel, because this class teaches you how to use different stategies to actually improve your score.”

“Shavang’s SAT course was actually pretty helpful. At first, I thought I was just signing up to suffer through SAT questions, but somehow I ended up learning things. The lessons were easy to follow, and Shavang explained things without making everything feel way more complicated than it needed to be. I still do not love the SAT, but I definitely feel more prepared now. Honestly, the SAT and I are still not on speaking terms, but at least now I know what I am doing. Would recommend if you want to improve your score without losing your mind.”

“Shivang’s SAT course was truly an experience. I walked in thinking I knew how to read and do basic math. Shivang quickly humbled me. 😭 Every time he said, “This one is pretty easy,” I knew I was about to experience the hardest 15 minutes of my life. But somehow, between the endless practice questions, questionable amounts of stress, and Shivang exposing every SAT trick known to mankind, my score actually improved. Would I recommend Shivang’s SAT course? Absolutely. Will you occasionally question your intelligence, your life choices, and why the College Board hates teenagers? Also absolutely. 10/10. “I had an amazing experience with Prep Expert, especially because of my instructors, Ethan Moy and Sital Paudel. They were both amazing instructors who helped me gain an overall understanding of these topics and improve my PSAT scores. Mr. Moy was willing to work at whatever pace was needed for everyone in the group and went out of his way multiple times to help answer questions. He would even look over questions again outside of our lessons so that we could come back and review anything we might not have understood the first time. I really appreciated his willingness to break down concepts for us whenever we were unsure of how to approach a problem. I also really liked how Prep Expert is set up. The platform is easy to navigate and has a lot of helpful resources, including concept reviews and extra practice. Being able to practice the concepts after learning them helped me make sure I actually understood and remembered them. The customer service was also great and had a quick response time, which I really appreciated. Overall, Prep Expert helped me feel more confident with the material and improve my PSAT scores. I would definitely use Prep Expert again in the future to help improve my SAT score or prepare for a future PSAT. “Sital was very helpful overall in both English and Math. Before we started tutoring, I struggled a lot with the hard math questions involving constants and unknown variables. Sital showed me how to go through the problems step by step and put them in terms that I could understand which made the problems much easier. Since then, I've been answering more questions correctly on the hard math module on practice tests as well as been able to go through the problems much more efficiently and accurately.”
