“My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov and it was a very good experience that raised my score from 1050 to a 1180 which is huge for my situation. It was definitely a lot of work and will put you though your paces but if you stay consistent you will see results”

“My instructors name is Ilia Kolmagorov. Prep expert is definitely a helpful course. You get plenty of practice problems, which will highly benefit your score on the SAT. I learned the more practice problems you do, the less confusing the SAT will be because you will have seen the types of problems before. In that case, the practice gets a five out of five. But I found the actual classes to not be as helpful as they should’ve been. Not that they were poor, but I found them to be slightly unnecessary. We did indeed learn some helpful strategies in the classes, but while going over homework problems, (witch is the majority of the class) it can really get messy and confusing. Either the instructor could go too fast, the writing can get all over the place, or the actual problem is difficult for one to understand. It’s difficult to do this online as everyone has different learning habits. Therefore, it’s difficult to engage just via a chat box. Online classes are never going to be perfect so I do not fully hold that against Prep Expert. The classes are three hours long with two ten minute breaks in between, and I found that to be very challenging, as it’s just way too long. I would’ve preferred more classes per week with shorter runtimes. I do understand the challenge of instructors availability though. I really do think you’re paying for the amount of practice problems that you really can’t get anywhere else. However, at the end of the day, I would recommend Prep Expert to anybody looking to improve their SAT score.”

“I was hesitant at first about taking these classes especially with it being a summer course, but I must say I am extremely grateful for this course. There was a plethora of exercises and resources that improved my score 120 points! The way it is set up with the homework helped me to stay accountable and truly prepare for the test. My instructor, Ilia Kolmagorov, was one of the most influential teachers I’ve had. Even over zoom he was able to make it interactive and enjoyable! I learned many lessons about not only math and grammar, but other skills I can incorporate into the school year. He left us with great parting words that were very motivating! I highly recommend this course. If you really give everything they say a chance, you’ll realize how truly beneficial it is. Thank you!”

One thing I think would make the experience a little better is if there weren’t such long breaks which would make it a more compact, two hour session instead of a more drawn out three hour one.”

“My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov. In a practice psat that I took before I got a 1320. Now in the sat I'm getting in the 1500s range. I liked the hard math quizzes and the vocabulary tests as they were very helpful. I think that one thing that prep expert should add is a hard writing quiz. I personally have to improve more on English so maybe starting the hard writing question slides earlier in th3 course would have been more helpful. Other than that the class was good.”

“I had Isabella Raicu. I think my score improved a lot from this course. However, I do think that sometimes she rushes the strategies a bit. Also, when we're reviewing practice test questions, sometimes the questions aren't the same. I don't know why that is. Can you look into that?”

“Mr. Chavira has been amazing, he is a really nice guy and taught the strategies very well. He was open to all questions at any point of the class and he always encouraged to ask more questions. My score went up 100 points on all of my practice tests and after mastering it even more, it will definetley go up even more.”

“My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov. I am an advanced student with a score of 1490 coming in, so a lot of the math concepts were redundant and I had a tough time paying attention. But the strategies that the course taught were incredibly useful, and I have improved my score to near perfect on the practice tests. I would generally recommend the course, as it teaches ways to solve problems that I didn’t know before.”

“My instructor's name was Ilia, and I had a an amazing experience with prep expert. I did the 6 week flagship course and I had an improvement of 210 points as of our last practice test. The work that came with the classes was long and difficult but necessary. The classes were useful but long, so it was hard to stay focused. Overall, very good experience and I would recommend to all students wanting to improve their SAT score.”
