From my first practice test till now, I have increased my SAT score by 200 points, and that is possible due to the techniques I acquired from this course and the consistency in practicing. Shreya was always ready to explain the complex concepts to us and even stayed for some extra time to clear our questions and doubts. “My instructor, Shreya Ambekar, was very good at explaining concepts and answering questions. She went in depth when explaining topics, which helped me understand not only how to solve a problem, but also why the solution worked. She was always willing to answer questions and would take the time to clarify anything we were confused about. I also really liked how well she connected with us as students. Since she is closer to our age, she understood how we think and learn, which made the class feel more easy going. She was easy to talk to and created an environment where I felt comfortable asking questions.”

“Prep Expert genuinely made a huge difference in my test preparation. My instructor, Ms.Shreya Ambekar, was one of my favorite parts of the course she explained concepts in a way that was easy to understand, kept the classes engaging, and taught strategies that I could actually apply on test day. “A 100-point score increase in just TWO WEEKS—and it started with strategies that felt completely unnatural. The 7-week SAT Master Class with Dr. Shaan Patel has been a genuinely eye-opening experience. With 100+ SAT strategies covered throughout the course, I’ve learned not only how to approach different types of questions, but also how to recognize the thought process behind the test-makers’ decisions. “I took the 7 week founder course with Dr. Patel and it was honestly the best SAT review I have ever used. The lessons were very thorough and I had an enjoyed learning about the new strategies. Dr. Patel himself was also very impressive: he was very patient and answered all of our questions. I only came for something to help me tweak my score and I was a bit skeptical. However, I still gave it my best shot and I feel like I have improved a substantial amount and I am ready to tackle the upcoming test this Saturday.”

“I took the 7 Week Course with Dr. Patel and it was absolutely amazing. I found that while the work was challenging, it wasn’t overwhelming and I was able to balance it with my other summer activities like my biology research and volunteering. He teaches various strategies; My favorites were in writing, grammar, and using Desmos efficiently in math, and with the weekly practice test and other homework assignments gave us plenty of opportunities to use these strategies. I found that this course was accessible to students of all skill levels and abilities– although I’m personally a rising 11th grader, I would have been able to understand his problem solving methods even if I had only taken lower levels of math and english in school. Even though the classes are long, well-timed breaks and allocation of time prevented me from losing attention and becoming distracted. One minor downside is that sometimes we were unable to review all the questions I wanted in full or at all, but thankfully the questions also come with explanations that you can read independently and recordings of each class are posted, which was a lifesaver when I unfortunately had to miss one. Overall, my score improved from 1470 to 1540, which shocked me because I had never passed 1500 before. I went from struggling in English to only getting 1-2 questions wrong in that section. I would definitely recommend the 7 Week Course to anyone trying to quickly improve their score.”

“I am a rising sophomore who had so many questions when I first took the 7 Week Founder's Course with Dr. Shaan. He help me answer all of those questions and really put the interest in learning. He helped us make lifestlye changes as well, showed us secret strategies not shown anywhere, and helped me build confidence for this gruesome test. He is a decorated veteran of the SAT who achieved a perfect score and is helping so many other students achieve the same. He recognized students throughout the course and even had some light-hearted moments of genuine connection with his students unlike most others, who are always so super serious. He employed a very good usage of the pomodoro method to keep students' brains sharp and to retain their attention. The Unlimited Prep package has such great value, with access to so many of his resoures. His classes are truly worth it and provides students with an effectively enjoyable atmosphere of learning.”

“The 7-Week Founder Course with Dr. Shaan Patel was absolutely phenomenal. Dr. Patel’s insight on core SAT strategies, as well as new approaches to the test, helped me gain a much better grasp of both the SAT and types of questions it asks. Specifically, I learned how to use strategies such as plugging equations into Desmos for challenging math questions and ignoring unnecessary appositive phrases and prepositional phrases in Reading and Writing questions. These strategies along with many others made higher level SAT questions seem less daunting. As a result, I was able to work through more complex questions much more quickly while still feeling very confident in my answers. Beyond the individual strategies, I truly appreciated Dr. Patel’s patience and the unique way he broke down each practice question into comprehensible parts. With each strategy I learned, I found myself becoming more and more efficient in answering SAT questions, and my testing anxiety gradually diminished. After taking this course, I feel much more confident and prepared going into the SAT. “When I started this course, I was scoring in the 1300s. Seven weeks later, I was scoring above 1500, and my score improved after every single class. What made the experience even more impressive was that I genuinely enjoyed the process. Dr. Patel has a great personality, and his classes felt less like being taught and more like having someone explain how to actually think through problems. I was always engaged and genuinely excited for the next class. The course also gave us an incredible amount of high-quality practice and review material, including accurate College Board tests, extremely challenging math quizzes using some of the hardest questions from different modules, vocabulary quizzes, and math, reading, and writing cheat sheets packed with useful tips. One of the most valuable strategies I learned was BOSS (Build Own Simple Solutions). Instead of immediately looking at the answer choices and getting stuck debating between two or three options, you first create your own solution after reading the passage and question, then use the choices to find the answer that matches it. This completely changed how I approached Reading, and I credit it with a large part of my improvement in that section. By the end, I had become so much more confident that even some of the hardest SAT questions started feeling like medium-level questions. What surprised me most was how much the course affected me outside of the SAT. Dr. Patel also emphasized habits like exercise and nutrition that can support focus and cognitive performance. We were challenged to delete social media for the seven weeks, only using it for one hour on a designated weekend day. I ended up breaking my habit of constantly scrolling, getting multiple hours of my day back, and eventually not even wanting to redownload the apps. My screen time dropped by several hours, and that change has stuck with me beyond the course. Going from the 1300s to consistently above 1500 while genuinely looking forward to every class is something I never expected when I started. This course didn’t just teach me how to take the SAT, it changed how I approached difficult problems, studying, and even my daily habits. I genuinely can’t think of a better use of seven weeks for someone serious about improving their score, and it was absolutely worth my time.”
