“This course has been one of the most valuable SAT prep experiences I’ve had. Kevin, my instructor not only communicated the information clearly, he felt very relatable. I am an avid anime watcher and many times, he would explain topics through the lens of various shows. He also posted polls for almost every single three star sat question we talked about. He would explain every answer choice analyzing why it was wrong and what would have made it correct. By week four, I had seen a 150 point improvement and I am incredibly grateful to him for all his help. I’ll miss his class, great way to spend the weekend!”

“My experience with Prep Expert has been beyond amazing. My instructor Taylor Trautwein helped explain both math and ELA in such an intellectual way. It challenged the mind to work and understand how to truly get the correct answer. She also helped with learning strategies and how to focus on studying without distractions which was very helpful for me. I have struggled with studying habits for a long time and after taking this course the way i study has completely changed thanks to her help. My score on my last psat wasn’t at the ideal range i wanted it to be. After having Taylor as an instructor my academic abilities have sky rocketed and proven that i can do much better than what i had thought i could achieve. I now grasp concepts and materials much faster not just during the course but in my everyday school life as well. I am more focused and truly understand topics to there full depth. My favorite part of this course was being able to gain confidence. I am normally a person who second guesses answers but learning more about this unique techniques helped me justify my answers and prove that they are correct. I really truly enjoyed this course very much and hope to take another one very soon!”

“Taking Prep Expert with Taylor was honestly one of the best decisions I made for my test prep. “This program was an amazing experience. The best part of this program, though, was definitely my intstructor. Isabella Raicu was an outstanding instructor who always kept the classes engaging and effectively explained important concepts. My main focus when participating in this program was improving my skills in reading and writing as it is something I know I'm not very good at. Because of Isabella's teaching I am able to answer these questions with much more confidence and understanding. Despite my focus on reading and writing I also saw that math was taught and explained really well and I am able to answer the math questions far faster. This program made me go from 1400s to being in the 1500+ range on the practice tests which was exactly what I wanted to get out of this program. Additionally my instructor motivated me to try harder by showing genuine excitement when she saw us doing well and improving. Overall I had a very good experience with this program and I owe this experience to Isabella and her outgoing personality. When I eventually take the SAT I will have much more confidence in my answers and I am confident that I will do very well because of this program.”

“This 6 week flagship course did wonders for my test taking skills. As a homeschooled student, most tests I take aren’t in a strict environment. By locking the desktop I could focus for much longer periods of time. The only other time I did a practice test prior to this on paper, I struggled to keep focus and ended up with a score of around 1200. When I took the first practice SAT I expected a similar result, but I found it much easier and ended up with a score of 1340, dramatically better. Going on, I got scores of 1250, 1380, and 1410, and my best score was 1420. With this increase of over 200 points, I can say that I would definitely recommend this course.”

“Isabella Raicu was my instructor and my course was nothing short of amazing. This is my first SAT prep course and I don't think I could have chosen a better course. She kept us engaged and educated the whole way through the course. Not only did this keep me hooked throughout the course, but this also helped me improve my SAT score. Going into the course I was scoring about a 1490 but as we went through the course and reviewed every topic thoroughly, my score improved by nearly 150 points which makes a HUGE difference for me. For others who are debating whether or not to go with this course I would recommend you do, you won't regret it!!”

“Prepexpert was incredibly helpful for my SAT score. The range of topics and the comprehensiveness of the course also helped me get considered for the National Merit Scholarship Program because of the PSAT score improvement I received, despite the differences between the SAT and the PSAT. My instructor, Isabella Raicu, was incredibly helpful and explained topics in an easily understandable way, which was great for improving my SAT score to an incredibly competitive level, even for some of the most rigorous college programs. “Ellie is an amazing tutor!! She is super easy to talk to, has great energy, and is able to help with a wide range of things like the ACT, SAT, and even college essays. Ellie really helped me refine and improve my essays for college application and gave quality feedback. She took time to analyze every part of the essay instead of just skimming and was very thorough in her feedback. “Kevin was the best teacher I could ask for. In the beginning of every class he would say his trademark “Hellooooo!” and every time it seriously brightened my weekend. His energy was unmatched and he was the kindest and most authentic guy. Every time you have a question, he will explain all of it until you understand it, and if you don’t understand, he will try every angle until you do. He has these hilarious anecdotes that just stick in your head, and I don’t think I will forget what I learned from him. I will seriously miss Kevin, and if I ever see him in public I will definitely give him a hug.”

“Taking the Prep Expert course with Kevin Parrish was an incredible experience. He shared many of his hobbies and interests with us, such as technology and anime. Every session was fun with him making jokes and references to shows and games while still teaching us. Kevin had a really good teaching style, which really helped me learn the strategies. The fact that he made the practice tests, questions, and had a Ph.D. in physics was crazy too. He was direct but never dull; every session I learned something new. His attention to detail was also amazing; he would perfectly answer every question and clear up any confusion. I felt really confident going into my recent SAT, and I think I did much better than last time because of the Prep Expert course. The course was well-structured, and the information was spot on to what was on the actual test. I think every cent was worth it for this course. “Kevin Parish was my instructor for the course. If you have the possibility of choosing him, please do. I’ve never had a funner teacher. He has an incredible enthusiasm I’ve never seen before. Since the start, Kevin’s lessons were extremely fun. He kept us involved with all poles and showed us the results, which in my opinion was very effective for my understanding. His anecdotes were extremely effective for us to understand his thoughts and to guide us through the answer. Because we only tackled hard questions, I felt that, when doing the practice tests, everything had a flow. I am surprised by how well he has been preparing us. Furthermore, Kevin really knew the questions from the question bank, he’s done every one of them! He meticulously picked the best ones and the ones he thought served the best purpose for us to put in practice why he had just mentioned. Kevin was direct and, even though he has a warm approach, he kept the seriousness we needed to maintain discipline when studying for the SAT. For each type of question, Kevin guided us on how to approach them: some looking at the answers first and some by really focusing on the paragraph. By the same token, Kevin did his own analysis on the questions and their topics. Like, for example, how he numerically analyzed and concluded that the SAT now focuses more on Command of evidence. This is a great insight that we would rarely figure out alone. Kevin, unlike many professors, also taught us how to solve math questions using Desmos. This had saved me so much time and stress! Not only has Kevin reinforced the importance of using BOSS, he has guided us on how to do it effectively. Kevin has also given us tips on where to search for more support and tricks. He is truly exceptional. If you are seeking a professor that will teach you the best tips and tricks for the SAT and for doing the test in an efficient manner. Please sign up for this course. Worth every penny! He did not solely read off of slides. As an international student that previously struggled with the English section, I now feel more comfortable with how to take the Reading and Writing Module in a way that boosts my score. Kevin truly created an atmosphere that I felt like I was face-to-face in a class with him. He is an SAT expert.”

“I was introduced to Prep Expert through a Zoom webinar. I had only taken the SAT once before and was not satisfied with my score, so I, after consulting my parents (non-essential appositive!), decided to sign up for Dr. Kevin Parrish's 6-Week Flagship Course. I honestly came into the course expecting slideshows of strategies for the test, but instead I was given something so much better. Dr. Parrish's teaching style felt so engaging, and I never got bored throughout the entire session. Not only did I never get bored, but his recommendations and his method of conveying strategies (especially through his analogies) helped me approach all types of questions in a much more effective manner. I started seeing noticeable improvements in my pacing and accuracy (in the full-length practice tests) following the sessions as I practiced applying many of the strategies I was taught.
