“Taking Prep Expert with Mr. Miguel Chavira was a game changer for me. At first, I thought it would just be a bunch of boring SAT tips that wouldn't really make a big difference, but it ended up being way more than that. Mr. Chavira made the class super engaging and actually fun — he explained strategies in a way that made sense, and he was always throwing in tips that you wouldn’t just find in things like a regular prep book. He really knew his stuff and cared about us doing well. The course had a solid routine: every week we had full-length SAT practice tests that helped me get used to the timing and pressure, vocab quizzes that actually helped me recognize tricky words on the reading section, and some tough math quizzes that really challenged me. The homework wasn’t light either — but doing it consistently made a huge difference. I started to notice I was faster, more confident, and could break down questions way easier. It wasn’t just about learning facts — it was about learning how to think like the test makers and beat the SAT at its own game. I also liked how we’d go over real test questions together in class so we could see how to apply the strategies. Overall, I’m way more prepared now, and I know I wouldn’t have gotten here without this course. I would highly recommend it if you’re willing to put in the work — it really pays off.”

“My instructor was Miguel Chavira, and he has been a great instructor. I haven’t taken my next SAT yet, but my most recent practice test was a 1590, showing that the class and my instructor really has helped me a lot. I liked how Miguel went so in depth, and the course was explained very easily. I am taking the October SAT, so hopefully it goes well!”

“Olivia was absolutely AMAZING! Her energy and clear examples made every class meaningful and kept me engaged, even after the long, tired hours of learning. “My Instructor was Kevin Parrish, genuinely one of the best teachers I have ever had an experience with. Super patient with the class, always answers the questions that the students have, and gives us all of the best tips to help us maximize our score on the PSAT. We went in depth through all of the material that could possibly be covered on the PSAT, as well as all of the best strategies for each topic. We also did multiple practice problems for each topic, and Kevin would do more practice problems with us if he saw that we were struggling on particular areas. Overall I would definitely recommend him as a teacher. He has a unique way of teaching; instead of just putting the slides on the screen and guiding us through, he types everything out manually as he says it, which helped me have a better understanding personally. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Kevin as a teacher, and I can confidently say that his teaching has drastically improved my understanding of everything about the PSAT”

“My course instructor was amazing. My instructor was Kevin Parrish. He was very engaging and super helpful. I could tell he was really trying to help us and worked hard for us. His strategies and logic was super well spoken. Also, giving us 3 star questions were good in order to get us prepared for the test. “Kevin Parrish was by far the best instructor I have had. I took 2 PSAT prep courses at the same time and he did more than just read off the slides to teach; he actively engaged with the class and taught us stratagies that made me feel more prepared for the test. He also gave us extra practice problems and resources to review which I found really helpful. I found his approach to teaching to be the most helpful and beneficial to deepening my understanding of the things we learned.”

“Dr. Kevin Parish, is one of the best, scratch that, the best test instructor I’ve had. I am so grateful to him. My score increased by more than 200 from where it started and I can’t stress enough how crucial it is to take a prep expert course. Especially with Dr. Kevin, he has his own material he worked so hard on and he engages with the class in such a meaningful way. “I can't say enough good things about my prep expert. From the very beginning, it was clear that he wasn't just there to teach, he was there to make sure we understood, down to the very last detail. Every session felt intentional, carefully thought out, and adapted to help us truly absorb the material, not just memorize it. What really impressed me was how he constantly made modifications to improve the learning experience. If something wasn’t working for the group, he changed it. If a concept needed more explanation, he didn’t just repeat it, he broke it down differently, gave new examples, or walked us through it step by step until it clicked. You could tell he was always thinking about how to reach every type of learner. He also made sure no one was left behind. He would pause after tricky questions and take the time to explain why the right answer was right, not just give it and move on. He encouraged questions, welcomed them actually, and never made anyone feel like they were asking too much. That kind of patience and clarity is rare and it made a huge difference.”

“My instructor was Kevin Parrish for the 4 week PSAT course. He was very good at explaining things and I loved his method of teaching. Instead of reading off of slides, he used his own knowledge and notes to teach. Before this course, I was very unsure about the PSAT but now that I have finished the 4 weeks, I feel prepared and confident about the test! I am also an 11th grader that is taking both the PSAT and the SAT this year. He used material from the SAT as well as the PSAT when teaching so I feel ready for both! “I had an excellent experience with Prep Expert! My instructor, Kevin Parrish, made each lesson clear, engaging, and full of strategies I hadn’t seen anywhere else. Before the course, my PSAT score was about a 1250, and after applying the techniques from class, I improved to around a 1450–1500. Kevin is more than just a slideshow reader — he brings energy to every class and creates an amazing learning environment. The biggest strengths of the course were the detailed test-taking strategies, timed practice, and the constant encouragement that helped me stay motivated. “My instructor, Kevin Parrish, was amazing in the 4-week PSAT prep class that I took. He was thoughtful and considerate when it came to teaching us strategies and helping us improve those strategies in our tests. When we had questions regarding our homework and tests, he would listen to them carefully and help his dearest to make us understand our slip-ups and how we could prevent them to achieve our dream score. I started with a 1420 on my PSAT and steadily improved to a 1500 within the span of a month. So if you're looking for an instructor who guarantees to get you to your dream score, while also making the class fun and energetic, I would recommend Taylor being the way to go. 10/10, 5/5 stars. 5 big booms.”

“I took the Prep Expert course with Shefall Sanwal as my instructor, and I can't imagine how different the experience would have been without her. Shefali was an outstanding teacher who was patient, supportive, and always made sure every student truly understood the material. She created a learning environment where no one felt overwhelmed. My score improvements honestly shocked me. l've consistently scored 100 points higher on the SAT than I did before taking this course, and I wasn't expecting such a big jump so quickly. I also really appreciated the organization of the Prep Expert platform. Everything was easy to find, and there was more than enough support available whenever I needed help. Overall, it was a very positive and encouraging experience. I'm grateful for the support I received and hope others have the same success I did.”
