Successfully placed an order via Prezzybox website for friends in N.Ireland. Had order confirmed by Pressybox via email. In a subsequent email was told the order could not be delivered.
Told by Pressybox that:
"Some retailers are able to dispatch goods from mainland no problem but we have had some delays due to technical errors and just aren’t able too"(sic)
Why wasn't this issue mentioned in the website general information provisions? The above-quoted response failed to provide any specific information to the buyer. For example, how long will the delay be? Which retailers are involved? Are there alternatives being considered by Pressybox, e.g. are there backup retailers supplying equivalent goods?
There was no mention of the inability to deliver to N.Ireland on the website. There was an offer to send the order to me which is pointless since I am in Australia and would then have to send the order back to the UK.
Someone needs to review the text on the website for relevance, timeliness and accuracy concerning the issue of delivery.
