Thought this might be a good idea for a funny valentines gift, ordered it a week before, on the Friday, they didn't dispatch it until the following Wednesday. Seeing as I'm paying £12 plus £4 in postage for a jar of Marmite that costs £2.50 in store I'd expect a little more urgency to help facilitate getting the item before said date. It's angered me because I now have to go out and find something else, just because they couldn't be bothered to process an order quicker.
And before you state that they have thousands of items to send daily, well then get more staff in, make the fact it will take five days to post it more prominent on the website, or get a quicker printer, because surely it's just printing a sticker for a jar which you should already have in stock. It also says 2-3 days to dispatch (NOT WORKING DAYS) so therefore should have been dispatched earlier.
At the very least communicate with the customer, it was advertised as a funny valentines gift, if you then realise it's not going to arrive before valentines day because it took you FIVE DAYS to dispatch, then just tell the customer. Your lack of communication smacks of hiding something you knew to be true.
If it wasn't in stock and you had to wait, let them know, so they can cancel the order or choose something else. Update your website to state that product has to be ordered in.
I have wasted £16 on a present which will not arrive in time, and now have to go out and buy something else to compensate and now look like I'm a dick that doesn't care enough to think ahead and order something.
I will never use prezzybox again and will tell all my friends and followers not to use them as it's just a complete farce from start to finish.
