I was concerned that the brightness of a replacement lamp from Projector Lamps might not as great as the Original lamp in my JVC DLA-RS540U. At 4200 hours on the original operating lamp, I decided to take a chance with this less expensive alternative to the OEM JVC . While I obviously don't have a "fresh" JVC lamp for comparison, it is very bright and was, indeed, a genuine Oshio lamp as described. Hopefully it will continue to perform as well as the original.
