It is a concern overall that these big corporations are making a huge profit from consumer's already, but to force their employees to continuously ask for donations every day with each transaction is somewhat harassing. Don't mind giving to March of Dimes because it is a good cause but forcing it on your employees to ask your customers for a donation or they are reprimanded for not asking. I told a cashier I already donated yesterday, are you going to ask me everyday would you like to donate? Was informed we have to ask or get in trouble. Trouble? Publix makes enough profit to donate to March of Dimes on their own accord with their skyrocketing product purchases. A bar of Aveeno Soap has skyrocketed to $4.09 from $2.49, Dove Bar Soap to $6.49, All detergent to $15.99. Publix donate some of those proceeds from skyrocketing prices to March of Dimes and stop the harassing of your customers. Publix prohibits any type of solicitation in their parking lot but then Publix do it inside their stores.
