Took out gadget insurance to make sure I was covered and sure enough, lost my Apple Airpods on leaving. Turns out it was a complete waste of money as they won't pay out unless there an actual crime scene (i.e. police involvement/forced entry to hotel room etc.) Have read countless other reviews for both travel and gadget insurances where they've done everything they can to wriggle out of paying out. Pointless. Don't waste your money.
