Purple bricks lie, they make appointments and cancel them last minute and basically do not give a monkees whether they sell your house or not.
When you make the initial enquirey to sell your home, they can not do enough for you. Once you have agreed to sell with them, the service stops.
In a nut shell, if purple bricks were the only estate agent left on the planet, id sooner burn my house down than endure anymore of their shocking service or listen to anymore of their lies.
