This was a trip of a lifetime. The naturalists and ship staff were outstanding. Alix had a deep understanding and encyclopedic knowledge of the region that only 30 years of study brings. Lulu was quite knowledgeable and really, really funny. Our fellow guests were all very compatible and interesting company. This tour operated like a well oiled machine behind the scenes. Good times just kept happening with seemingly no effort, at least on our part. I know the entire staff worked very hard to make it appear so. The animals! The geology! Playing with sea lions while snorkeling! Mating Albatross! Territorial threat displays between male land iguanas! Walking on lava flows! Pinch me and tell me if this was a dream.
