My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Darwin's Legacy (2 weeks) cruise on M/V Evolution with Quasar. The guides were outstanding, our room on C deck was comfortable, and the food was wonderful with lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and local fish options. Quasar took excellent care of us from the time we arrived at the Quito airport to head to Baltra through the time we headed back to the mainland after our cruise completion. We especially appreciated the commitment to safety held by all the crew and staff of the Evolution. The month of May turned out to be a great time to visit the Galapagos Islands. Blue-footed, Red-footed, and Nazca boobies were all courting and nesting, as were the Waved Albatross. Enjoyed snorkeling almost daily with all the beautiful fishes, grazing sea turtles and marine iguanas, sea lions, sharks and rays. We also enjoyed kayaking. It is a very active itinerary.
