BUYER BEWARE! I had to return a gift. I had already spoken with cust .serv. and she said they could only refund my friend's payment method, no gift card. Talk about embarrassing, so I had to call my friend to let her know. As awkward as it was for both of us, she sent me a check for the amount of the gift (this was a gift she had collected money for from others who were in on the gift, more awkwardness) NOT end of story. My friend had to let me know she was refunded ⅓ of the cost--MORE awkwardness, and when I called cust. serv., the rep she said they came back used, smudged and not in original wrapping. I DIDN'T see any smudges or problems with them when I repacked them. Items were secure and arrived intact back at the company. The cust. serv rep I spoke to about the partial refund was useless. I would tell her I sent the items bk unused and that I hadn’t noticed any smudges and she would refute that and tell me her company policy. (These were fragile, glass hurricane lamps that I placed over flameless candles (from Amazon & part of the gift) to see how they would look in my house. As much as I wanted to love them, they were just too big in our home.) I told the cust. serv rep my story. We kept going in circles. After I insisted on talking to her supervisor, she put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back and told me her supervisor wasn’t available and that I couldn’t talk with this person. Then I told the cust. serv rep my whole story about how this was a gift, the embarrassment, etc. etc. She had no response other than repeating there was nothing she could do for me. My friend already had given me a check for the return amount (awkward) and now I have to refund her for 2/3 of that amount (really awkward!) when she found on her payment method only a partial refund. After all is said and done, the $77 gift was refunded $27, and with the out-of-pocket return shipping, there was essentially a $10 refund. Quick Candles caused me unnecessary embarrassment and aggravation. This company has no heart, no soul, no integrity, just policy. BUYER BEWARE!
