Driver delayed four times and had clearly taken on another job. Was booked for 11AM and he kept saying "22 mins" then jumping to "34 mins" multiple times between 11 and 2PM. He also lied and said he was in traffic when I could hear him moving stuff around! At first I was being flexible but when it got to 1PM and he was still making up new estimated delay times, it was turning into a joke so I contacted main office who eventually sorted my out a driver for 3PM. The company should, IMO, have given me my deposit back for such an inconvenient and anxious experience with poor communication. Luckily the guy who eventually came was brilliant but regardless, it's unacceptable for a removals company to operate in this way. What's more concerning is that I have no way of rating the original driver who I booked purely based on great feedback!
