“Fab service from Quick Man and Van today! I booked Adam and his colleague to collect 50+ hampers from premises in Wigan to arrive in Newcastle the same day and they were spot on. Arrived on time, delivered on time and were super helpful in supporting us with loading and offloading our goods. Van was also carpeted and clean! I would recommend in a heartbeat - Thank you.”

“Fantastic service The lads knew what they were doing. Very professional -arrived on time- in a clean tidy loading van- knew how to stack boxes- where calm and polite- even went into attic for some boxes - nothing broken and everything transferred safely - great service - will use when have to move again.”

“I had a terrible experience with Quick Man and Van Company. They notified me of a driver change on the day of my move, but the new driver kept lying about his arrival time, making me wait on the street for 90 minutes. When they finally arrived, the driver brought an extra person, although I had only requested one driver. The drivers and customer service were absolutely rude and dishonest. They shouted at me and demanded that I help them load my items, which was against our contract. I hired a van and a man to move a standard dining table and chairs only. I agreed to help with the table, which needs two people, but not the chairs, which need only one person. They found me off guard on the street with no way to cancel the booking, so they refused to work. They handled my belongings carelessly, without any blankets, pads, or protection for my expensive table set. On the way to my house, I called the company to explain the situation and asked to pay the company directly since the drivers seemed unreliable. When they arrived near my house, they demanded payment before unloading, despite the contract stating in bold, “You will pay the driver £… in cash after the move is done.” I called the company multiple times to explain the situation, but they sided with the drivers and pressured me to pay upfront. When I tried to call the police, the drivers disappeared with my belongings. I could see behind their van that they had already damaged my items. The company refused to answer my calls or take responsibility. They did not return my items, and I lost a lot. To me it seems they literally stole my table set. I am now pursuing legal action against them. Avoid this company at all costs!”

“Dwight got in touch directly to confirm the job details beforehand. He was punctual, kind and professional, and very hard working. He moved all my belongings down two flights of stairs, into his van and to a storage location. When we arrived, he assessed the space to ensure it was big enough, and then stacked everything neatly and efficiently. I am delighted with the service. He even gave me a ride home afterwards. He made what could have been an extremely stressful experience easy and pleasant. Five stars!”

“DO NOT HIRE THESE SERVICES!! My driver was 3 hours late, unresponsive for the first 2 hours and then told me he’d overslept and would arrive in 20 minutes but when I called him 30 minutes later he hadn’t even left. He then said he’d arrive in 15 and got there 45 minutes later. He left me sitting on the street outside someone from gumtree’s house who was selling my a sofa for 3 hours in the freezing cold and never once apologised.”
