Sent my phone for recycling. My order was placed on Sep 12, I was finally paid on 2 Nov – seven weeks after sending them my phone.
I'm genuinely surprised at all of the positive reviews for this company, as my experience was so bad. Let me elaborate:
* There's little to be gained from trying to call this company to get a status update on your order. I tried plenty of times to get through in the seven week period, and only succeeded twice. The first time, a week after placing my order and hearing nothing, I got through to a pleasant lady who told me I'd be paid in a couple of weeks. However, what she said ultimately turned out to not be true. The second time I managed to get through was after about six weeks, to a different lady. After taking my order ID, she hung up on me.
* At least they do respond to emails. However, a correspondence chain involving over 25 emails yielded little information. Typically the responses are not very helpful with fob-off responses like "We'll be in touch as soon as soon as we know more". They didn't.
I was relieved to actually get paid at the end of all of this. I genuinely thought I'd been scammed.
