I ordered a refurbished iPhone X on Quick Mobile on the 6th of October to replace a phone which was on its last legs. I was ok with the 10 day dispatch date as my current phone was still useable, I then received an email saying the phone would be another 5 working days. At the end of the 15 day period my current phone died but still nothing from QMF, I tried ringing and no answer and eventually after 2 days got an email reply offering me a different colour, I agreed but only if the phone was to be dispatched that day, 3 days later and nothing so I had to cancel my order and buy elsewhere.
The refund was initially meant to be in my bank account in 10-14 working days, at the end of the 14 working days there was nothing so I rang to be told that the card gateway was down and they would bank transfer me the money in 5 working days, yet again there was nothing at the end of these days. I rang yet again to find out what was going on and was informed that no refunds were being processed until the 6th of December. After threatening the company with legal action if I did not have the money in my bank account by this date I was told by the woman on the phone that 'sometimes things just don't go your way in life' and that I should get over it.
I am currently left feeling like I have had £600 stolen from me and wondering why I wasn't informed initially of the inability to process refunds. WILL I EVER GET MY MONEY BACK??
