I own and routinely wear Quoc's "Night Lace-Up Road Shoes" and "Gran Tourer II". These are the best bike shoes I've ever had - significantly more comfortable, more durable, and more functional, than premium pairs of other major brands I've used over the years. The lace-up variety: I love the lacing hole pattern and tie system - getting the tightness right takes just a minute longer than Boas, up front, but I have never had the lacing come loose during a ride, and the system provides a snugger all-round fit across the foot than any Boa system does. Plus the Lace-Up Road Shoes (in real leather) look super cool. The Gran Tourer II's have proven their worth on many gravel rides and bikepacking trips - they have great hike-a-bike and trail grip, just enough flex for walking around camp, yet are, once again, super durable, really quite lightweight, and feel really wonderful to ride in for 10 hours a day on the bike. My next pair, if one day these need replacement (hard to imagine), is also going to be the lace-up variety, which doesn't seem to have a disadvantage in my experience so far. My one gripe with the Gran Tourer II's is the little thin plastic cover over the cleat holes and under the shoe insert - it is really hard to align correctly, easily bumped to one side or the other when the insert is put in over it, and it isn't made to stick at all where it is supposed to go. I've had to put on a bit of gaffer tape, somewhat ineffectually. Because you know with gravel shoes in particular you're going to have to pull the inserts out on occasion to help dry the shoe, people. Maybe you guys can solve this little problem...
