I bought a new RainBird Controller and it would NOT connect to the wifi despite the fact that the previous Rainbird and rachio were both in the same location for years and worked fine. So I spent hours on the phone with both ATT and Rainbird to get the thing connected. The second Rainbird representative that I spoke with, Steve, was condescending and very rude. I almost just threw the controller away then. And still , it was not connected to wifi. After walking away from the project for a few hours, I went back and got the controller to connect with out help from RainBird. It possible that the work ATT did with my wifi helped as they split it be 2.4 GHz and 5GHz. It was NOT fun.
