I did a lot of research before choosing the Ratio 6 but I do believe I made the correct choice. There are a lot of reviews that complain of the lid not being able to pour correctly or liquid getting stuck inside, but I feel I may have gotten the Ratio at a point where those issues have been addressed. Additionally, the heat shield does not touch the shower head in my unit so I don’t have the water splash back either. Overall the unit makes an amazing cup of coffee when paired with a good grinder to complement it. Overall, I have zero complaints so far and use the Ratio daily.
