I have bought several RM mats over the years, both plastic and textile. I love them all. I appreciate the commitment RM has to ethical principles that make shopping a worthwhile activity. I like that the mats reflect community development principles, community engagement and cultural respect for artists and community stories. I needed my latest narrow width mat to replace an old one I have had for many years and which is very well travelled. I have posted it back in the same cardboard packaging, marked For Recycling. I am pleased this is now an option as it reinforces the recycling commitment and makes the purchace of a recycled plastic mat all the better knowing it can go back around the circle rather than to landfill when it has worn out.
