I bought a Red Paddle 10.8 Ride last year, after looking at a variety of review articles on quality and value of boards on the market. I already had some experience of paddleboards generally from a sailing and windsurfing club I used to attend. I must say I had not originally liked the particular inflatable boards I had tried there.
I live in Inner London and wanted to paddle on the tidal Thames, so a portable inflatable board became essential to make this possible.
I have since had many enjoyable River trips and find the 10.8 a much better experience than other types of inflatables I had used before: I cant recall what these other inflatable makes were.
My friends and family now want to try SUP boarding too, so I recently bought a 10.6 Ride, so we can sometimes go out together.
I should also say that Customer Service and Support have been extremely good: for instance the 10.6 was mistakenly lacking a leash on delivery, but a quick call to the supplier reulted in a swift delivery of the missing piece. Also I had a small problem with my pump on the original 10.8, but this was rapidly solved by your office in Devon sending a replacement head set. This kind of aftersales service is excellent and re-assuring.
Thank you all.
