There were a number of annoying things (like issues with lab access and so on), but the key points boiled down to this:
- Despite being training sessions specifically for Vocus, the trainer had no idea of how we were using the Arista boxes. This lack of knowledge invalidated most of the training.
- The usage of marketing videos in a technical course was both unprofessional and uninformative. As an engineer I spend a lot of time trying to get past marketing information to understand the actual significant information behind that. I expect training to help with that, not add to it.
