Pros: heats area near/around fireplace as expected. Looks nice.
Cons: kind of expensive. Some features in the manual like the light is not present on my fireplace???
Other: After shutting off, it would be nice for the fan to continue to run so all the excess heat can continue to be dispursed into the room. This could be an option but instead of just shutting it off; you could utilize all the heat still contained in the fireplace. The fan can shut off automatically when the firebox reaches a certain lower temperature.
