I like the convenience and efficiency of the unit. The remote control functions well and the unit heats the room pretty well. One thing that does bother me is when the unit has been running then is turned off. After it is turned off the unit makes loud cracking-type sounds. Perhaps this is due to the cooling of the metal insert or something else but it is annoying and distracts from the quiet ambiance. Overall I am happy with the Regency insert.
