I've had fireplaces, coal and wood stoves and this is the best. I turn it on it heats up and if you walk out the door, you can turn it off not have to worry about anything we use them every day. It's a great supplement to our heat pumps. Especially in New England on the coast. We have two unit & one in the bedroom, one in The living room. Customer service was great. They were very responsive and helpful during installation.
